I was just double checking and I guess the 3rd week of the month is the 3rd full week? I still do not have my Play box and have just given up and canceled for the future.

I wonder if the reason we haven’t received play boxes is because of this government shutdown!!!! Eff you Trump because when you mess with a girls Sephora Play box.... this means WAR!!!!

I was so busy in December, I didn't realize I never got my December box - but I did get the January box, and actually have used everything in it, which is a first for me.

 

 

I just cancelled my subscription because over the course of a year I haven't felt it was giving me the kind of products I wanted to try, or I was getting too many items that were previously used as "2 samples free" items.

 

So given the volume of negative comments here, I think we as a community need to give more, and more specific, feedback to Sephora on what we'd want. And speaking as someone in Marketing (for another company), saying "I like this other beauty box better" doesn't help them figure out how to fix theirs.

 

My feedback: 

- It feels like many of the items that have previously been free samples are not being used as filler in the Play boxes, like the Bite Agave Lip blister duo.  This does a disservice to the brands you're promoting, because you're significantly limiting the number of people who can try it.

- Same for perfume samples, unless they're either available to Play members 1-2 months before general public (in store), or special to Play.

Y’all I’m just saying, they shipped me the wrong stuff so I emailed and complained and then they basically express shipped a new box to me with what I should of had, I’m writing this cause I honestly feel so bad for all the ladies on here who are still waiting on their first box, that’s not right...I shouldn’t of received my second one before you guys got your first 😞 I ended up cancelling play because this month was such an atrocity 👎🏻

im glad they ended up sending the box you were promised to receive. i got the wrong box also and read that the HUM vitamins that i wasn't supposed to receive may give me an allergic reaction since I'm allergic to sulfa...ughhh. I can handle all the other wrong products even if they just replace the vitamins I would be happy but I am bummed that I'm not getting the drunk elephant or Sunday Riley I was told i would be getting

Yeahhh that’s what I’m saying, I mean I’m totally happy I was able to get the box I was supposed to, but I don’t think it’s right of them to give out multiple boxes to multiple people and run out of inventory for the rest, they also deducted the 10 beauty points that where associated with my account and I really am not a fan of that, just because it was their screw up not mine

I still wanna Kno y we have to fill out a profile when u jus gonna throw same skimpy product in a box when everyone has completely different skin...an supplements??..mushroom products? tiny poo samples? like WTF Sephora??!! quit being cheap an lazy an actually read ppl profiles...I'm pretty sure that these boxes help pay corporate bills n such but heck if ya gonna jus short ppl non stop u may jus one day may not be able to pay ur bills...instead pay for law suits for basically trying to kill ppl wit out a warning sign for allergies on the cheap tea...get off the environmental kick which is partially just you giving cheap bags not everyone wants less quality in name of your environmental hippie crap. here problem with America consumers being scammed we have lost faith in you sellers and retailers people shouldn't have to wonder whether we are gonna get quality or not.

I am recently a newer member of the play box subscription that you offer. January is my second month receiving your box and I am beginning to see some major inconsistencies and failures. One: you do not post any updates until the middle of the month, I was constantly checking for January’s update only to be shown Decembers even up until a week ago, mind you it is January 22nd. Second, I don’t actually receive what I am told I am getting when I receive your first email stating to take a look at my box that will be arriving for the month. The items I get are cheaper and weaker and makes me question what the hell am I paying $10 for. If you need an example I’ve attached two pictures. One is what I was told I should expect in my box and two is what I actually received. The patheticness of how you operate these boxes makes me question why I am giving you my business in the first place, not with just the box, but with other purchases I make. It’s disappointing and frankly just bad business. Update your app, update your boxes and update what your customers actually get in their box instead of lying to your customers. Do better or lose customers such as myself.

The 500 beauty points I received for another year as VIB "shipped" faster than this box did 🙄. I was told by CS if I don't get it by Thursday (24th) to contact them again. I'm also really sad to not be receiving what the spoilers said I would be (I have 261)

I was so excited in my email to see I was getting a drunken elephant product. I did not receive any drunken elephant product. I did receive detox pills in my makeup box subscription 🤔. Wondering why. And as much as I used to love my play box everything is just getting more repetitive now. Need more make up and less tea bags and detox pills.

Exactly.. that’s the reason why I stop paying for this box.. it was getting bored.. I used to get This box and birchbox but I was getting to much junk instead of makeup.. so I had cancel both and get Boxycharm instead...(Allure Box has good stuff too..so I got that 2 🤷🏻‍♀️).

So I haven't received my box yet, and I heard back from customer service that the box description in my email detailing the contents of my box, was out of stock. How that happens, I'm not sure. I was then asked which box option I'd like instead. Since I can't see each box option, I listed a few items that were important to me, and a few I'd not prefer like anything edible. I am waiting on a response as of now. I really wonder what would've happened if I'd not brought this to their attention... just ignore it and charge me this month's fee?

Like most everyone this month my box was completely different than what I was told. I was very excited to get to try some of things that were said to be in my box like the drunk elephant product because I've heard great things about the brand but they're really expensive. Sadly when I opened my box I was only happy with a couple of items and will probably give the rest to friends and family. I used to really look forward to play box every month and enjoyed the fabric bags and good mix ofproducts. Since they switched to the plastic bags the size, quality, and diversity of products has gone down hill. I'm canceling my subscription and looking for a different beauty box.
