Are you all heart-eyed just thinking about your February PLAY! by SEPHORA box? So are we. Here’s the first clue to hold you over until it arrives.
This month’s theme is Feel the Love, and it’s filled with beauty you’ll fall head over heels for. There might even be two products in the same category, but our lips are sealed.

The lip color is gorgeous! Plus a fantastic brand. I bet with that gloss on top it would look amazing! The thing I love most about the boxes is they get me out of my comfort zone. Never know, try it and post a pic with a nude eye or at least not a strong eye.

You don’t need to cake on the red lipstick - use a brush or your finger, dab it on then blot. Use a pretty nude or lighter pink lipgloss over it & it could look amazing.
There is ALWAYS something you can do with your samples you think you’d never use if you use the app or think about it a bit.
I don’t understand all the complaints - it’s $10/mo. & at least 1sample you love makes it worth it.
This was my first month to get a Play box too and we got the exact same stuff!?! I threw the gloss in an 'emergency' bag...meh but I'm excited about the lipstick and it's definitely not something I would have picked for myself.
All items which you got are as same.In addition, this time was my first time to get Play box!! Thus, it seems that these items might be for first customers ?!

Mine was broken as well. Contact Sephora - someone stated that they received a $5 credit, and that Sephora was aware of the issue with the lipstick.
Hmmm. Your box is a lot better then mine. I think I'm over this. The $20 luxe boxes that we were able to order last year are the only ones I've liked.
Like the majority of posters, I was not happy at all this month and am considering cancelling. So, here's some feedback in case you do have a quality standard to follow that includes monitoring this group as a feedback/complaint source:
1) Dont sent an email saying what's going to be in the box if you aren't going to send it, i.e. only two items were what I was told I would receive and one of those two was the Sephora product, which was obviously preplanned bc the insert represented what was in the box. After one year do we get downgraded to lesser products? Of course it's frustrating because our expectations were made to be something much higher than was delivered (or some did get it - as I saw some posting about the other products)
2) It's a very different box when told it would be Laura Mercier, NARS, and Peter Thomas Roth...and I see now the site link has been updated to now show the one we actually all got - two store brands, no NARS, no LM...; and only the eye cream and one Sephora lip the same.
3) It's not a sample size issue, it's a marketing and customer communication issue - Are you going to respond in any way? Or does Sephora not care about customer service and that there are plenty more waiting to need to provide it? I've spent hundreds of dollars in the time I've been a BI/VIB, so I would think if we all bail in aggregate this could create a dent in your revenue.

Replying to my own post bc - as I hope it was the same for those of you who are unhappy with the Feb box- Sephora did do the right thing and send a $10 credit, which is basically a refund for the box. I appreciate the correction! Thank you. Now, as a Quality and Improvement professional (which is why I referred to this forum as a feedback/complaint source to be monitored), I'm asking about corrective action - Is Sephora taking all this lovely, valuable feedback and reviewing processes? No response necessary, as it does defer my cancellation for at least another month to receive the $10 correction, but posing as a rhetorical question. Feedback is only as good as the root cause analysis and corrective action that follows to review where the processes broke down. Best regards, HT
