Exact Same Play Bag

Did anyone else get the Play bag for October with the same red/white design as last month? I hope Sephora will change the design month to month as with the cloth bags. They had a cute saying with an illustration which was fun and refreshing to get.

Adding my 2 cents in hopes that Mods are checking and forwarding. I agree with others I liked receiving the different bags and this last one given out the last three months is a terrible idea that’s been poorly implemented, i.e., communicated. December’s bag better be awesome!

I called 1877sephora as soon as my November B 2018 box arrived. In May when I signed up, it said we would get those drawstring ribbon pouches and I did get 2. I am shocked that Sephora pulled a fast bait and switch. The CSR offered to credit me with some points and I accepted but... I think I will unsubscribe. If past play boxes come up online I will scoop up 1 because it will comes with additional samples and points earning. Play is disorganized and I think they will likely raise the price because they are cutting corners with this red zipper plastic pouch. Honestly all I will use it for is for sanitary trash like wipes and feminine supplies. I prefer wristlets and wish they would just create a simple square cosmetics bag (for the play cards) in many color variations so I can hang them with my shirts.

Just got my November Play and I am disappointed to see that it's the same red/white bag again. It's been three months and the bag has remained the same. Please step up your Play bag game, Sephora!  💁

I hate this new cheap plastic bag. I love the cute bags from Ipsy! I wish they would do better bags for the play box.

The Birchbox boxes take up way more room than a bag, but are useful for storage.

I have seen September unboxing videos and they got this bag. October was my first month getting play!, And this is the bag I got. It actually states on the sign up page the bags will be unique every month. I have Ipsy, and like getting different bags. These red plastic ones seem junky and wasteful. I even appreciate the boxes Birchbox and others use, as I can stack them in my closet full of little things.

I didn't know the bags are listed as changing monthly and am so disappointed they aren't. In addition to the zipper on my bag breaking, I found out fragrance samples will linger (because plastic retains odors.) So if we get fragrances we don't like, it ruins the bag. 😩

I got the same bag but I don’t even care about the bags anyways. The repetitive junk I keep getting each month is what really bothers me. No more Sephora brand lip products!!

My bag was filthy for the October box! It looked like it was sitting in a warehouse collecting dust and grime for God knows how long. My samples were fine, but the bag was funky. I love Glossier's pink plastic bags and have found all kinds of ways to repurpose them, but the plastic Sephora Play bags are a pointless waste.

I agree! Part of the reason I subscribed to this was to get the cute bags!! And I never got even one 😞

Everytime I get my ipsy or order through Glossier, I'm like "ughhhh God. What am I going to do with another bag?" But at least I can find ways to reuse those! Whenever I've really needed a small bag for something, I have plenty on hand! I use the Glossier bags for TSA liquids because their standard ones are 1 Qt. sized and see through. I fly 4-6 times a year and have never had an issue taking them through security (ATL, CLT, DTW, JAN, MSY). Also, the best thing is that they are made of bubble wrap. Whenever I have needed to fly with a 21 day supply of daily contact lenses.... they stay protected in my carry-on! I've got a bunch of miscellaneous odds and ends organized in ipsy bags. They're super handy. That sephora play bag was a total fail. I couldn't justify keeping it in my "stash" to reuse it in the future. I don't want to throw a plastic bag away, but what else am I gonna do with it? I want to meet the person inside the company who decided to use the plastic bags, and ask them "WHYYYYY?!?!"

I agree. I actually like the new bags, but wish they did change from month to month.

I feel like the bag durability could be improved as it's plastic and the zipper just broke on mine, but I have been using them. The fabric bags I was giving away as gifts during birthdays/Xmas/etc. I think the designs were cuter, though.
