purging?

hi guys so recently i've been using bha 2% by paulas choice, i've been using it more frequently, before i'd only use it maybe 1-2 a week, but now i use it everyday as directed on the bottle. I haven't added anything new to my skincare routine other than changing the amount of times i exfoliate. I'm not suffering from small pumps and papuels on my skin which i've never suffered from this much before, also i have fairly oily skin but my skin nowadays isn't super dry but it is dry. Just wanna know if it's purging or a breakout from over exfoliating?

@Anonymous purging usually occurs where you normally break out where as a negative reaction would be in new or uncommon places. 

Personally I don't exfoliate daily I find it is too frequent for my skin and only do it 2-3x a week. You might want to try scaling back or halting using the BHA and see if that clears it up.

Have you started any other products?

I'll try cutting back on the exfoliating

No i haven't started using any new products other than up the amount of days i use the bha
