What order do I apply serums

Hi I have hyaluronic acid and niacinamide serums. What order do I apply them? Do I wear them both? Or one in the day and the other in the night thx xox

Re: What order do I apply serums

@Holllllly, both those ingredients (niacinamide and hyaluronic acid) are safe to layer together and can be used in the same routine, day and night; just remember sunblock after your moisturizer for daytime wear. The order will depend on the serums you are using. Generally speaking, they should be applied using the thinnest to thickest approach - apply thinnest serum first followed by the next thinnest and so on with your thickest serum as your last serum. Ordinarily, I suspect that will mean your niacinamide serum will be applied first, followed by your hyaluronic acid serum, followed by your moisturizer.

Also wanted to note that if these serums are new to you, I'd recommend trying one for a period of time before incorporating both into your routine. That way, if you are allergic or sensitive to one, it's more likely you'll know which one and can either remove or make adjustments to its use in your routine. You may also want to do a patch test on another part of your body (like your inner arm) first to see if you are likely to have any sensitivity to either or both serums.
