What is a good gel moisturizer?

I have super oily skin and want something water based. Preferably under $65.00.

I agree with mokutou that Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is good! It's around $27.I use 2-3 pumps bc my skin has been acting weird the past year but if you use 1 your face will not get oily... Well it didn't for me. I also use witch hazel (Dickerson) as a toner before i put it on to make sure I don't get oily later in the day.

Hi @Natstuff5, I have very oily skin too, especially in my t-zone and I have always been afraid of using moisturizers of any kind. Recently I’ve been trying the Murad Water Gel moisturizer and it’s amazing! It is pricey but it’s very hydrating and absorbs so nicely after applying it.  It has a slight fragrance but nothing overpowering. I apply it at night and wake up with soft skin the next morning. I’ve also noticed my skin is not as oily anymore but that could also be because I’ve been adjusting my nighttime skin routine.

Other moisturizers that works well for me are the First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream and the Ole Henriksen oil control hydrator but both of those don’t have the gel texture.

Hi @Natstuff5, I definitely recommend the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream. This is probably one of the most lightweight gel moisturizers I have ever used, but it provides deep hydration with hyaluronic acid ceramides.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb !! At the drug store for like $12 I think ? I never used to use moisturizers because I was scared it would be too oily but this one is great, I only use it at night after the rest of my skincare routine.

Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and their Moisture Surge line are pretty good and have a well established cult following.  A more budget friendly option would be Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost moisturizers are supposedly amazing, though I’ve not tried it myself.  However, my personal favorite of all time is Clean & Clear’s Morning Burst Gel moisturizer.  It’s stupidly cheap, very effective, and smells light and non-intrusive.  I think I get it at Walmart for $5.

nutregina water gel works really well and is only like 10 or 11 dollars

Two of my gel-based favorites are Belif's Aqua Bomb and Caudalie's Vinosource Sorbet. Both work really well with oily skin.
