Powder foundation for oily skin

Evening all.....I have super oily skin. My forehead, eyebrows, and nose are the worst. I’m not a makeup guru and I don’t know the latest trends. I’m 2 years away from 40 and I’ve been using MAC powder foundation since high school. I have very little eyebrows so I basically draw them on everyday......just imagine what my brows look like at the end of my day. Any suggestions for a good powder foundation. My makeup routine: cleanser in the morning, MAC oil control moisturizer, my MAC powder foundation, and I use a benefit eyebrow pencil. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Don't overlook the Sephora powder foundations, after using so many I was happy with the Matte Perfection Powder foundation.

@Anonymous I rec going to beautypedia and searching "best of" for foundation, the searching under "oily skin."  Next, search for ones that in powder form.  It looks like LM, UD, MUFE, KVD, Cover FX and Estee Lauder all have good options.  Best of luck!  🙂

I suggest the KAT VON D - Lock-It Powder Foundation. It provides great coverage and lasts throughout the day.

Hi @oliveoily03! Have you tried using a primer? I don't love adding another step in my routine, but I've found that it helps. I personally like BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector because it doesn't contain acnegenic or irritating ingredients (I have rosacea so I need to be mindful of ingredients). In terms of powder foundation, I personally prefer the brand Omiana over bareMinerals because they don't use talc or mica. Unfortunately they aren't on Sephora, but they have a few perks: they have 33 shades, they're cruelty-free, they have a shade matching system, and you can buy sample sizes of their products for 3 bucks. I suggest checking out BAREMINERALS - Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation.  Its a great loose powder foundation that is full coverage and feels lightweight on the skin.  I highly recommend applying the foundation with the  bareMinerals Seamless Buffing Brush With Antibacterial Charcoal , as the brush will apply on the foundation better and help created a flawless look!

I use the blemish foundation and it works pretty well for me and I have oily skin as well. Bare Minerals is the first foundation I ever used and I always come back to it.
