Makeup Remover

Can anyone recommend their favorite makeup remover? I’ve been using Neutrogena wipes and I know they’re absolutely terrible for your skin and it like to start using something different. I have oily/acne prone skin. Thanks! ❤️

Re: Makeup Remover

I know you said you have oily acne prone skin but you don't need it to be irritated cleansing it. These products from Clinique won't break your skin out. Good luck let me know how you make out

Re: Makeup Remover

I've been using Clinique take the day off balm and then warm face cloth to wipe it off it works great then I use cleansing wash Clinique all about clean liquid facial soap extra mild (very dry to dry skin) it's white creamy lotion . My skin is clean and no irritation I also have sensitive skin, works great

Do you do a one step cleanse or two step cleanse?

Re: Makeup Remover

I have very sensitive skin and get irritated easily I use Clinique take the day off balm, then use warm face cloth to wipe it off and then use All about clean liquid facial soap extra mild for very dry to dry skin. My skin is clean and not irritated works great. I use a toner also Humphreys witch hazel alcohol free toner, I get at Amazon. I'm a fair skin redhead and my skin feels and looks pretty good

Re: Makeup Remover

Garnier SkinActive!! Best makeup remover I’ve ever had. I’ve been using wipes to remove my makeup and every product I tired would break me out, leave me sticky, burns my face, etc etc. garnier especially the Rose Water, has left my face moisturized, clean, with no irritations. I highly recommend for people with very sensitive and/or oily skin. 💙

Re: Makeup Remover

@CarlyJo89  My skin type/behavior (mostly-dry combo) is different from yours, but here's what I always use.

Brow pencil (eh, some days it's all I wear): My PM cleanser (CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar) easily takes care of it.

Eye makeup: Paula's Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover (the liquid, not the wipes). I dab it on a reusable bamboo round, hold it against one eye for about 60 seconds, then gently wipe everything away. Repeat for the other eye, of course.

Stubborn lipstick (liquid mattes or anything that leaves a stain): Vaseline. Rub some on my lips, let it sit for a minute or 2, and then wipe it off with a bamboo round.

Anything else: The INKEY List Oat Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm 5 oz/ 150 mL , followed by my PM cleanser. Before I started using this balm, I often used Paula's Choice Gentle Touch on my whole face. This balm's better at breaking up tinted moisturizers and mineral sunscreens, and it helps soothe my inflammation-prone skin.

fresh Soy Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Skin Gel - Cleanse + Tone 4.22oz/ 125mL

The Fresh gel is hydrating and a little goes a long way. On the other hand, the Sephora collection one is great if you're oily and find lighter cleansers don't deep clean or wash off your makeup well. Don't forget to moisturize!
