Facial Oil

Hi Everyone

So I'm a 50+ woman.  My skin routine has always been super low maintenance.  Face creme/eye liner/mascara and lipstick  that's all I do.  Lately I feel like no face moisturizer keeps my face "fresh" and  "glowy"  I'm looking for an oil that can help me achieve that feel.  I don't do foundation, not my thing. My skin a dry to normal.

thanks for your imput.

Margie

Re: Facial Oil

Hi @Anonymous ! My favorite good-for-my-skin facial oils are e.l.f. Nourishing Facial Oil and Herbivore Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil . I also like Flora + Bast Age Adapting CBD Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL (I don't know why they call their CBD oil a "serum"). All 3 of those oils help soothe my combo skin's inflammation issues and give me a boost of natural looking radiance. Another good and very popular option is The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil for Skin Elascicity 1 oz/ 30 mL .

Or, you can get a dewy glow from sunscreen. An oil-based chemical sunscreen option is COOLA Sun Silk Drops which I sometimes use during winter for glowy skin. A very dewy sunscreen that uses newer and better chemical UVA blockers is Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel (Clear) UV SPF 50 PA++++.

If you prefer physical/mineral sunscreens, there are plenty that don't have a matte finish. For instance, I find the CoTZ Sensitive SPF 40 Non-Tinted Sunscreen to be very dewy/glowy—actually greasy enough on my skin, I have to powder-set it to temper the shine. 😄
