I like to take a travel-sized package of the Neutrogena wipes as well as a travel-sized bottle of the Garnier micellar water. Easy to carry, affordable, and does the trick!

Re: Cleaning your face while camping!

I like to have a little thing to pamper myself (if you call it that ๐Ÿ˜„ ) and bring Ursa Major Essential Face wipes with me while I camp. The upside is that they're great for cleaning everything off and leave my skin feeling awesome, plus they stay nice and moist in individual packets, and the cloths are big enough that I can give myself a bit of a body shower (at least pits!) after I do my face. The only downside is that they're a bit expensive, and since they're in individual packets the waste can add up.

Ohhh yeaaahh clean pits is essencial!!!! Gonna look into those ones too. Want to be prepare for the big trip. I can try stuff ln my little weekend camping trips, before i decide what works best. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

@LaFata7, are you car camping or backpacking? For car camping, I always bring extra water to wash my face using my regular cleanser. For backpacking, I switch to wipes and if there's a river/spring/waterfall near by, I'd splash my face with the water from it. I think the most important thing is to clean the sunscreen, dirt, and sweat off everyday so you won't clog your pores, leading to issues later. Regardless of which type of camping, I simplify my routine by only cleansing, moisturizing, and apply sunscreen in the mornings. At night, I layer the moisturizer pretty thick...almost like a mask...to help inject more moisture into my skin. My makeup is simply doing my brows with browwiz and applying lip balm.

Car camping! We always have the extra water but i want to simplify my routine like u said by just cleaning the dirt ,oil etc but i always bring like serum, toner, the wholeeee thing haha so i want to be fast and efficient and dont pack too much! But cant deal with a dirty face. I like what u said !!! Defenetely gona do it !!! Thanks a lot.

RE: Cleaning your face while camping!

I think your best bet would be micellar wipes. they remove dirt, oil, and makeup without the need for rinsing. they'll act as a makeup remover and a cleanser in one basically. my favorite are the simple ones because they remove everything and leave behind zero residue. you can also use micellar water and cotton rounds but I just find the wipes more convenient. hope this helps!

Re: RE: Cleaning your face while camping!

Is it safe to use micellar water for few days? I will go camping in november for like 3 or 2 weeks with no shower for at least 3 days a week lol just want to make sure i take care of my face with no problems!. Need to get some micellar. Which one u like /use???thanks girl.

Re: Cleaning your face while camping!

Micellar water! It removes makeup and cleanses with no need to scrub or use additional water! Just rub it on your face with some make up removing wipes and you are good to go!

I like to use makeup wipes and a gentle cleanser to clean my face. I would definitely stay away from face makeup but a little mascara and brows never hurt anybody!! To moisturize I use a neutrogena moisturizer for oily skin and it works great. Hope this helps!!
