Best makeup for oily skin.

I am new to makeup but everything i put on my face seems to make me look like a glazed donut🙄. Even when i do my eyebrows. Any suggestions on a starter makeup kit?

You could try starting out with any matte foundation, depending on your budget. If you are very oily, a good translucent powder to put over top of your foundation will help you the most. Sometimes I even wear a translucent powder just by itself without foundation. Laura Mercier loose setting powder works great and has great reviews. A pressed setting powder might be a little more convenient because you can carry it around with you for touch ups. I've tried Urban Decay De-slick mattifying powder, laura mercier pressed translucent powder, and fenty blotting powder. They all basically do the same thing. Last but not least, you could get yourself some blotting papers. They will get rid of any oil you have on your face, again, they all basically do the same thing. I like Clean & Clear (sold at any drugstore) and sephora's charcoal blotting papers.

Kat von d has the perfect matte foundation for oily skin. It stays in place and has full coverage. some setting powder will work as well.

Depends on your budget. It adds up quickly especially if you don't have much products to start with. Are you looking at shopping drugstore or specifically higher end makeup?
