Best and affordable face primer!??

Hey guys, Im on the look out for a new face primer. Up until recently Ive been using the Neostrata Mattifying Face Primer but its being discontinued! This product was a drugstore brand so I got a tube for around 30-40 and it lasted around 2 months. Looking for something similar in price and durability. I have extremely oily skin, and am prone to breakouts. What do you all recommend?

I recommend checking out TOUCH IN SOL - No Poreblem Primer.  It is light and helps blurs the look of pores. Plus, it is vegan and cruelty free!

@trashlynnn At the drugstore, my favorite is Rimmel Stay Matte Primer. It’s under $7 and really does keep me matte!

I suggest checking out the SEPHORA COLLECTION Beauty Amplifier Mattifying H2O Gel Primer 1 oz/ 30 mL . It is really mattifying and smooths the skin. I hope this helps!

@trashlynnn Do you generally like a more hydrating primer or a smoothing/silicone-based primer?

I've generally strayed away from hydrating ones, only because I try and stay as matte as possible and in my experience the hydrating formulas have given me more of a dewy look. Thanks for the reply!

Hey there @trashlynnn ! The one affordable, drugstore primer I always recommend to my fellow oily-skinned peers is Soap and Glory's One Heck of a Blot primer. You can find it at the drugstore and at Ulta for $14. It is one of those primers that you have to rub into your fingers to warm up before you apply and works great at keeping your skin matte. If you haven't already tried it out, I recommend you do! I am attaching a picture for reference. Best of luck!
