Best Primers

Okay, so I have oily skin that is prone to acne with some large pores and I'm looking for a new primer. Right now I'm using the benefit cosmetics pore-fessional that everybody loves but I just think it's way too much money for the amount of product you get and for that price I expect it to completely get rid of any sign of pores (which it doesn't). Does anybody have any suggestions?

Just in case you like POREfessional but cost is a factor,  NYX Pore filler is a dupe for Smashbox Photo Finish - Pore minimizing primer for pores, which slightly drier than POREfessional but way lower cost! I would say it's the next best thing to POREfessional (unless you want oil control, I don't think Benefit POREfessional controls oil that well).  For oil control and pore minimizer, I use NARS Pore and Shine control.  It's pricey but isn't as drying as Becca Ever Matte and doesn't give a white cast/

I really love both the Smashbox primer water and the Smashbox pore minimizing primer. Both are a little pricey also but you get more product than the benefit primer and I usually only use the pore minimizing one on my t-zone area. I find together they help my oily skin a lot and last a very long time when using this way.

I like the Smashbox Photo finish (the purple one). Also, I heard the BECCA one is really good for oily skin too!

I'm in the same boat and so far haven't found the magic primer. Makeup Forever primer is decent. So is Clarins. I recommend asking for samples the next time you're in the store. The problem I find is that at first they work great, then my skin adjusts and they become eh.

Benefit porefessional in the Matee version works wonders
