BB or CC Cream for fair skin

Trying to find the right shade of BB Cream! I have a fair complexion, freckles, and a typically normal skin. I’m 27, so pimples are still an occasional issue for me — thinking an oil-free product would be best? Mostly concerned about finding a BB Cream light enough for my skin tone though! I’ve tried Stila’s Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm. I bought that in October when I was still getting a bit of sun from time to time, though I found it was still too dark a shade for me. Love the illuminating aspect though, when I wore it I got tons of compliments on how my skin was glowing (without wearing any highlighter)! More recently, I tried the drugstore brand Physicians Formula. Their Super BB Cream in “light” was recommended for fair skin on various online forums I browsed through. Also too dark for me though not quite as dark as the Stila product. Recommendations, anyone? I was looking at IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream, as it looks like they offer some of the lightest shades I’ve seen so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: BB or CC Cream for fair skin

I have very very fair skin and spent a lot of time yesterday trying to find the right product, something that was light enough, and ended up buying Chanels CC Cream in shade 01. I wanted something that felt natural, not heavy or thick, just a cream that would give me a little coverage and like I said it had to be very pale. It was 55 bucks for an ounce so a little pricey but it does seem to be perfect. I wore it today and found it easy to apply and blend and am happy with the shade and how natural it looks. I used a little Chanel loose powder on top and some blush.

@ghaskellIT cosmetics has a super great shade range for sure but IMO it's heavy and very full coverage and my skin can't breathe very well in it- which generally leads to pimples especially along my jawline. I'd recommend NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 St. Moritz or FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair® Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30. For a little extra glow you could try layering L'oreal's Lumi Glowtion over it- gives a super natural radiant glow and mixes in super easy. I can also confirm Nars lotions get very light in shade but do oxidize a tad

I agree on the IT Cosmetics foundation. I found it to be quite awful. Was talked into it by a representative at Sephora who assured me how light and natural it is and how everyone raved about it. Nope. I rarely return things but this went back!

@Brutalitops  I felt the same about the IT CC.
