Hi again @owenjones1! No worries! I'm always happy to help! The most common way to apply those products are foundation, concealer, then setting powder. A lot of people also use sunscreen and then primer before foundation and setting spray after you finish your entire face (face, brows, eyes, lips, etc.). I have heard of the way @MCSSavvy mentioned but some people say it's not recommended since concealer is more likely to clog your pores when applied before foundation. I've never tried that method so I'm not sure but you can always give it a try and see what works for you! I can't recommend sunscreen enough! Without it, your skin will age much faster. Make sure it has UV protection since UV rays are the most harmful to your skin.

Hi Rob! You must experience this. I've had nothing but fantastic experiences all the times I've had services done. I would suggest if possible visit the store and get a feel for it. I have 3 stores to choose from, none of the stores have ever been anything but welcoming, but there is one I felt the most comfortable with. Just my thoughts. I visit Vegas once a year for about a week and schedule a full face service each day. Cant praise the experiences enough. Best wishes!

Hi Ezra While I dont have the skills to give a recommendation on the cover question, I do have a related suggestion. Consider laser treatments to at least reduce the amount of hair? I have done it, no not cheap, but i wish I would have started earlier. As you age, the facial hair gets more difficult to laser and when/if the grey shows up - laser if virtually ineffective on it. Best wishes, looks like you have some great support and input!

Hi Willow, the best way to keep the skin clean is using a face wash morning and night to help balance the skin Dermalogica Cleansing Gel. Also using exfoliating pads with Glycolic acid I love and always use when I feel my skin getting too oily or if I feel a pimple coming out Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Pads, use all over the face and neck, and go back on areas where you have the most problems. Also, keeping hands and pillow cases clean and trying no to touch the face the best you can. Ilde Goncalves SephoraPro

Thomas, I agree with you on wearing makeup to look more fresh :). I’m loving the Reboot foundation from Makeup for Ever and also their Matte Velvet Powder is great for men too. I also like to make the brows look fuller using the Sephora Collection Retractable brow pencil and then some Anastasia B H Brow Powder Duo. I love to apply some Marc Jacobs Bronzer, their are matte and perfect for men, on the lips I love to use anything from Bite specially the Agabe lip mask that comes clear and with color. All the best, ilde Goncalves SephoraPro

Hi there,I would suggest that you use a face wash morning and night to help control and balance the skin Jack Black Deep Dive Glycolic Facial Cleanser. Glycolic is great to contorl oil production and keep the skin looking fresh. Use any moisturizer you may have for the face, I love Belif the Aqua Bomb gel in case you don't have one. And for when you want to look fresh and tone down the redness use the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and go for a shade close to you skin tone in a golden tone (This would help to minimize redness) Because your skin tends to get shiny, use a face powder to set the Tinted Moisturizer and help the skin to look matte. Makeup For Ever Matte Velvet Powder Foundation is great and it looks very natural for makeup for men. Hope you enjoy these recommendations, all the best . ilde Goncalves Sephora Pro.

@JakeTtP IF YOU EXPECT A RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE, I'D SUGGEST POSTING IN THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT GROUP This is a public board for beauty lovers, and if you post here, you will get responses from, well, the public. If you want to talk to Sephora reps, they are in the CUSTOMER SUPPORT GROUP. Go there instead of calling people names. https://community.sephora.com/t5/Customer-Support/bd-p/Customer_Support (ETA: this was in response to a now deleted and quite nasty post)

You can use a corrector or any orange lipstick to neutralize the blueish tone from the hair. Layer some of the orange cream and blend with a brush or fingers. Then layer your foundation preferably with a Beauty Blender to pack your foundation on for better coverage. Let you foundation and concealer dry a little and then apply the powder also with a puff or brush pressing the powder into the skin. Practice makes master :). Ilde Goncalves Sephora Pro Artist

It is always fun to find new ways to use products. A fun way to use eye shadow is to color your beard. First wash your beard and ensure it is completely dry or the product will not stick to it. Then grab an eyeshadow brush, a swipe in the way your beard grows. You can also do this by pushing the product into your beard. Have fun!!!

I’m so happy you’re OK with this. Born This Way concealer is hydrating and only a dot is enough. Coverage is really light and it is compatible to Tarte shape tape (I think). I also like the benefit cakeless boing concealer. Great coverage, minimal appearance and no drying or creasing so it won’t look like there is makeup there.
