Makeup tips

Hey yall im 26 male whos getting into makeup. I've worn makeup before from my fellow friends. But I've wanted to get into it. Any recommendations on good products or looks?

What brands have you used? Do you like any specific items or have a feature you wanna play up?

I think Sephora Collection is a good place to start.  It's usually affordable, plus it is the house brand so it gets discounted more often.  It also will have trendy items in circulation, the con is that things get discontinued quickly since the stock is large imo.  The juicy lip tints for example are liked, easy to use and currently there are two holiday sets available with 1 tint and a liner.

Tagging a couple of BIC'ers who def can give you their specific recs

@sissyboi72 ... Pink for daaaaaaayss, gloss girly

@JoSometimes  Nails always on point, their spouse will literally steal their stuff

Re: Makeup tips

Hi @makeupboy26 !!
I’m not sure what your makeup preferences are, but here are a 5 of my favourites!

For complexion I really like the Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation for Buildable Coverage. This foundation has medium coverage, with a whipped moussey texture that melts into the skin seamlessly and doesn’t cake up throughout the day. It adds hydration to the skin that never separates or accentuates texture! I also love theHAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating + De-puffing Concealer with Fermented Arnica concealer. It hydrates the under eyes that doesn’t crease and lasts beautifully throughout the day!!
for blush I love the PATRICK TA Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo. It comes with two formulas, both with a solid amount of pigment that still remain easy to work with that lay beautifully on top of each other and last throughout the day!!Next I love the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Longwearing Translucent Loose Setting Powder. it’s a super comfortable powder that blurs the skin while leaving it with a soft matte finish that never accentuates texture and locks in makeup really well,  without clinging to dry patches or leaving flashback. Lastly, I love the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna You Mist Makeup-Extending Setting Spray 3.4 oz / 100 mL. It doesn’t necessarily extend makeup longevity, it does a beautiful job at melting all your powders and creams together and leaving a dewy radiant shine. It adds hydration back to the skin while also smelling really good(but not in an added fragrance way LOL)

I hope this helps ❤️
