I will be honest and say that I have never done make up before today. I had scheduled a make up lesson, and was nervous but excited for several days. I had the best experience at Sephora. The person teaching me made me feel not judged, answered questions, took the time to listen to what I wanted, and spent time helping me understand everything. When I was not sold on a look she took the time to find something that did work. 

I say this to encourage people that if you’re like me who is unsure but wanting to give things a try, to ask and give their lessons a try.

Good to hear things went so well. Despite all the positive stories I hear from others here I am still very worried about going to Sephora and having a negative experience

@Andy1087 You won’t know how it is unless you try. Everyone at my Sephora is always so welcoming.

I’m so excited to hear that! Personally I’m a lot older and recently started to use make up but had never used it when I was younger, so I felt like a blind person I felt like I was lost I did not know where to go did not know what to use but thankfully the employees in the store were so friendly and made me feel welcome I had amazing service purchased a bunch of stuff and have since only shopped in their store which I will continue to do as long as I can. It’s so great to feel included because inclusion does matter.

That's a nice amount of time I think, not to long but long enough to really get into it. @sleepyhollow87 I hope too get brave enough to do this someday. Are there any tips you learned that you can share? 🙂
