makeup staying on

I'm having a really hard time making my makeup stay on my face. it quickly comes off. My nose is my biggest concern. it just slides off!

Sounds like you need to add a primer and or setting powder.
Primers: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Beauty Amplifier Mattifying H2O Gel Primer

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Pore Minimizing Primer .75 / 21g

Setting Powder:

KVD Beauty Lock-It Setting Powder Standard Size Translucent - 0.67 oz

CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

I have the Pro Filt'r promer from FENTY, Airspun translucent powder, bareMinerals finishing powder. is there a certain order that works for you?

@annelOW
what foundation are you pairing with it?

Re: I have the Pro Filt'r promer from FENTY, Airspun transluc...

For special occasions or going out, I use the born this way liquid foundation. For work or running errands, I use the Maybelline Super Stay foundation. I did just order the FENTY foundation to try it out.

Re: makeup staying on

Do you set your makeup with a powder afterwards? That might help.

Aside from that, a primer and setting spray make a world of difference in the longevity of my makeup.
For primer, I'm currently using Tatcha's silk canvas balm, but I've also enjoyed Hourglass' mineral veil.

I've used Urban Decay's All-Nighter setting spray for years. Recently switched over to their Chill spray since my skin has gotten drier.

I have the Pro Filt'r promer from FENTY, Airspun translucent powder, bareMinerals finishing powder, and i also use the UD all nighter setting spray but that doesn't seem to do much. is there a certain order that you apply things in that works for you?

I do the skincare routine, then sunscreen after moisturizer. Then primer, let it set a few minutes. Foundation, let it set. Then either a finishing powder or setting powder. Bronzer, blush, and then setting spray. Make sure you let your products set in between layers if you don’t already - everything will slide right off if it doesn’t have a chance to adhere. Usually the finishing powder is enough to make my makeup last most days, but for really long or hot days, the setting spray makes a big difference. Are you finding that your skin gets oily throughout the day? You’ll want products that are compatible with your skin type (ie. I’m dry, so anything mattifying will make me look really flakey halfway through the day).
