Wedding Makeup

So, I am about 90 days out from my wedding day and am coming up with a makeup plan. I have a stylist that is going to be doing my makeup for the big day and I found a image of the makeup style I like. Only problem is, I am not so sure what products I would need to buy in order to accomplish the look. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance. wedding.PNG

Re: Wedding Makeup

@Anonymous the sparkly shadow looks like Stila Kitten Karma and the lipstick like Stila Patina. Other than that a warm toned palette like Modern Renaissance, a nice liquid eyeliner, a light gold highlight like Champagne Pop, plus some light bronzer and blush should get you close I think. Hope that helps.

Re: Wedding Makeup

Are you hiring a professional makeup artist?  Usually they will have a kit that includes the products needed, unless you're looking for something really unusual (which I would never recommend for wedding makeup).  I'd talk to them first about what they would provide and what you need to supply.

I'd also really suggest that you have a trial makeup session before the wedding.  You want to be sure they can really do things well and that the look they create suits your face and your tastes sometime before the big day.  It might cost extra, but it's worth it.  If they're not willing to do that (and if they also expect you to buy all of the makeup but are charging a lot for the service), I'd look for someone else.

My one suggestion for what to buy, if they're not going to supply it for you, is a fresh tube of mascara (or bring your own favorite).  You might want to own the lipstick as well, as you might find you'll want to reapply it sometime during the day.  Other than that I'd share these pictures with your artist and get their feedback.  You want them working with materials that they're comfortable using (and hopefully already own).
