A thread dedicated to all things Jones Road! A clean multi-purpose line of beauty/skincare created by Bobbi Brown (the originator of BB tho she is no longer associated with the Bobbi Brown line). Would love to see it to expand into Sephora some day! Please share your photos and thoughts on her beautiful ever-evolving line.

One of the new 5.0 kits in Cheeky. All colors are very easy to wear and not too deep at all. ( I’m light to light medium neutral with some warmth.) I love the illuminator and eye stick , well the balm and liner too! The lip tint is also something I didn’t think I’d love but it’s really nice with colors over it like pinks and reds and wines. Great on its own too clearly. It feels so soothing. Anybody else get this or the Chic set? They also look subtle for all complexions. My other favorite this summer has been the Just Enough tinted moisturizer and now the new Classic Satin lips. I bet the kit LE products will end up in the line, sure hope so.

I think she has done a nice job with a well-edited super easy, natural line @Titian06 . I did also notice that my eye stick will not stay put down in the cylinder tho! 😭 What is it with me?! 🤣 First the lip case and now this! lol I am trying to keep it clicked down but once again it’s not perfect. I think maybe they do need to take a closer look at their packaging and quality control so I may reach out and mention it kindly if that’s not too bad of me?! What you think? I don’t want to be complaining because I do love the products and the prices are good! Ugh. Love any input!

@Sunnysmom - You should let them know.  It's not complaining when something is wrong, especially when it may affect other people.  Don't assume someone else will say something; and even if they do, more voices can be better.

For example:

Hi, customer service!  I recently purchased the five-piece bag, which I love.  I want to let you know about a problem I'm having with the eye stick.  [Insert details here.]

Yup @Titian06 I actually did and they were very receptive as always. They really do have terrific CS. Thanks for your suggestion and you’re right about it affecting others! 🤗💞

I think that you should give them feedback on whatever doesn't work,

so they can do better!  (Sorry to barge in with my opinion...)

I understand why you like the balms so much @tsavorite , they feel so soothing with subtle color too. (I of course wish a bit more! 😂) The bag is cute. it’s basically a coated paper bag that does wrinkle like a normal paper bag. so it’s a little fragile but you can still use it.

@tsavorite Yes, I’m not sure you’d use it for anything too strenuous or heavy but probably good to store your stash in it so you remember what we have right? Plus in cute packaging! I like to keep brands together if I can.

Storing my Jones Road at home would be a good use for one, or several, of these bags,.

A few of the new lips if anybody interested. I find them to be very comfortable, super satiny smooth and the pigment is good. The stain is so pretty for all of these and they have a nice translucency, especially Wine. It’s so beautiful built up . Tulip is a cool-toned  neutral and brightening , not chalky at all. Ruby is a great neutral cool-leaning red. A nice addition to her line. (One small hiccup is with my Wine tube- of course my fav color of the bunch. 🤣 The magnet lid is not super strong and sometimes can slip off . I swapped it with the Tulip cap which is stronger so I can put it in my bag. None of them are as strong as other brands however. Something they probably need to work on but they do stay on of course. Also mentioned to their CS which is very good.) Did anyone else buy these? 

@Ispend2much6 were you looking for good pinks, trying to remember.

Thanks for the swatches, @Sunnysmom !  Wine is gorgeous!  Thanks too for the warning about the cap.  I'm not sure.  The swatches on her website are not impressive.  Your swatches look much better. 🙂

I have to think what they remind me of @Titian06 , I’ll work on it. Satiny, balmy, light to medium formula. VBB probably with more pigment or old BB formulas, Pat McG or MAC satins too. But they are good as a comforting lipstick . Wine is goood. These all are. Thank you, yes website swatches can be so tricky! Some good examples on their IG too. 💞

@Sunnysmom  Thanks for the swatches and feedback! Those 3 shades plus Chocolate are the ones I’m considering. Ruby looks gorgeous in your swatch photo. Good to know about the caps though; hope they’ll improve that at some point.

Bobbi will be at my local Jones Road store sometime this weekend for a book signing, so I might buy a ticket (price includes a copy of her book) and swatch a few things while I’m there.

Oh how fun @WinglessOne ! I wish we had a store. Do let me know if you go! It’s kind of strange that they didn’t get that part down right. CS didn’t even send me a new one vs credit saying they wouldn’t recommend a different one if it was the same batch, so that was a bummer. Love to hear if you see Wine and if it works better than mine! They are very satiny smooth. I wouldn’t say they last super long but I’ve used a pencil underneath and a stain and that’s helped too but if we just want a throw on comfy lip these fit the bill!

New lip coming tomorrow September 18th, 8 am EST. I’m excited for these being a more pigmented formula. Shades correspond to the lip pencils.
