Purple Blush: Color theory

Hello Everyone!

Since the holidays are coming up I have been thinking up products to add to my list! I have been eager to try purple blushes particularly Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Faith . Although almost everyone I’ve seen wear purple blushes have had medium or deep complexion. I am very light, but not fair ( HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation with Fermented Arnica 100 Light Neutral ) and I’m worried that it is not going to look good on my skin. Has anyone tried this  product and what did you think of it? One of my friends who has a deeper complexion recommends it for me, but I’m not sure if it will look the same on me as it looks in her (colour theory).
