Patrick Ta blush bad smell??

is it just me but everytime i apply the PATRICK TA Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo to my brush there is a really bad smell.

The blush alone doesnt have a bad smell and my brush also. Plus I always clean my brush and it doesnt have a bad smell with my other blushes.

Is anyone else in the same situation?

This has happened to me with the Patrick ta blushes I own but not the counter, so strange! It has a rancid smell when I dip the brush into it.
