Makeup routine

Hi! So I don’t do much with my makeup, all I do is add foundation and contour, along with eyeliner and mascara. I want to elevate my makeup but I just don’t know how and don’t know what products to use. So I was hoping if someone can help me out and give me a step by step makeup routine plus what products is best for going to parties and such.

@alishoney, I like @Inccc suggestion of different colors; that can change a typical everyday look.  Also, consider focusing on one feature at a time, for example, going out to a party, you could do your base look and play up your eyes with colored mascara like Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara Electric Blue .  Or, use bold colors on your lips and add a sparkly gloss topper like Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Fuchsia Flex

@alishoney Maybe try different brands? There are sometimes where you could just be paying for the brand name and it’s not worth it, however there are a lot of times where expensive brands do perform better and you get your money’s worth. For example i personally think the HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation with Fermented Arnica 110 Light Neutral  , Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid Tone 3.8 N  , and Hourglass Vanish™ Airbrush Concealer   is worth the money 

 Or you could experiment with different blush colors than you usually use and also blush placement because where you put blush can change up your entire look 💀. Or something as simple as eyeliner dots. fake beauty marks, glitter on your eyelids. face gems and fake freckles can level up your look. You could try experimenting with different colored eyeliners or incorporate lip combos into your look (you can find a bunch of those on tiktok).  

If you usually go for dewy or natural finishes for your final look, try out matte makeup instead and see if you like it. The Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place 24-Hour Longwear Foundation 6W1 Sandalwood  has a matte finish and is known to last pretty long so it could be great for parties, and there’s also a  matching concealer.
