Makeup must haves

I am 41 years old and have been out of the makeup game for quite some time and I am diving back in this year.  Any recommendations on a routine and product must haves for my skin that tends to be on the drier side.  I would like to have a healthy dewy/glowy finish.  I am currently using Fenty filtr matte liquid foundation which is not giving the look I am after.  Thank you for all your help!

I would use a moisturizer such as belief, and try a non-matte foundation. I would also recommend liquid products for a dewy look

Usually matte foundations are for oily skin

I would switch to either the luminous finish Fenty foundation or try a different brand like PATRICK TA Major Skin Hydra-Luxe Luminous Skin Perfecting Foundation For Natural Glow
