Makeup Madness Challenge 2024 – CHAMPION REVEALED: Check out Community's favorite product!

We’re kicking off March right by bringing back the BIC’s favorite beauty bracket challenge – Makeup Madness! 😉 For the fourth year in a row, we’re putting makeup-related categories to the test by asking Community members to pick their favorite between two every week. At the end of the bracket, we’ll know which makeup category will earn this year’s Community Champion crown. 👑

In past years, Mascara, Lipstick, and Eyeshadow have earned the honorable title of Makeup Madness winner. This year, we’re bringing eight fresh categories into the frenzy – we’ll reveal them slowly and keep a visual of the current bracket updated below!

Although brushes are a huge part of makeup application and technique, my vote between these two is Lip oil! 100%. One of my favourites is the Dior Lip Glow Oil Raspberry and the Clarins Lip Comfort Hydrating Oil 01 Honey - clear!!! I've recently delved into the Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil for Moisturizing Sheer Coverage Pink Cloud after my new found love for Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Treatment for Hydration + Nourishing Shine - All flavours, pigments and colours are chefs kiss!!! Cannot go wrong with these Lip oils.

Brushes. Unbelievable that I of all people would vote against a lip product 😅 but I’m still not fully (or even mostly) on the lip oil train, so this round’s easy. Did I tag PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush before? That used to be my favorite little brush for concealer, and I still use it occasionally. I wish Sephora carried Chikuhodo so I could tag many more of my favorite brushes. 

If the final round ends up brushes vs. cream blush, that’s gonna be a problem.

Oh my gosh... so excited that the BIC glitchyness is gone and I'm able to catch up on this thread!  Gotta say... little surprised at some of the winners!  Lash curler over shadow primer??? whattttt????? lol

This round I have to be team Lip Oil!  I recently re-tried the NARS Orgasm Oil-Infused Lip Tint Orgasm in the purple shade after forgetting that I owned it.  What a great formula... still stands up to all the new formulas I've tried out lately.

Eyeshadow primer. I do a lot of eyeshadow and eyeshadow primer or even concealer has been my saving grace!!

I’ve never used eyeshadow primer it’s not a very necessary thing in any routine. So I vote for an eyelash curler. The Shiseido Eyelash Curler is amazing!

I think that the eyelash curler is the BEST!!! But I also use a lash primer on top of my curler lashes. Then I do my waterproof telescopic mascara then comb it out with a spoolie and a lash comb and my lashes look AMAZING and last all day too
