How to Eyeshadow?

I’ve been beauty blending my under eye concealer onto my eyelids all the way up to my eyebrow just to fix any discoloration. I know that’s not what it’s for and now I’ve finally gotten fed up with the crease of nasty concealer that accumulates on my eye crease. I want to be able to even out my eye lid area color but I’m super lazy and I’ve never used eyeshadow. What do I do? I don’t want any glitter or unnatural color just a totally nude even eye look. What products and/or tools do I need? Helpful tips for lazy people like me are welcome!

Re: How to Eyeshadow?

I guess concealer feels too heavy on the lid? I can see how that would be annoying. In your shoes, I would wear eye primer on the lid leading up to the eyebrow, then use a nude shade eyeshadow on the lid, and a lighter shade just under the eyebrow as if to contour, and then blend it well. As for which eye shadows to use exactly - that may be a little bit of a trial and error situation but there are some decent options including purchasing singles or creating a palette (like at the Make Up Forever aisle). Too Faced has a Natural Matte eyeshadow palette, and you could also take a look at Urban Decay's Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow palette.

RE: How to Eyeshadow?

I’ve seen a lot of people on YouTube just use their bronzer for eyeshadow. If yours a powder it may help with creasing.

I like the MAC paint pots, soft ochre is pretty nude. It goes on a little smoother and is slightly less prone to creasing. You can set it with translucent powder for less creasing or put a nude colored shadow over it. You can also use your concealer like you are and just set with translucent powder.

Sounds like that works for you, but maybe a dab of your foundation. Less concealer?
