Foundation issue

I recently purchased too face foundation light beige, however I noticed itโ€™s giving me a grey/ ashy undertone, what should I do? Or what could be the cause of this.

Re: Foundation issue

Can you return it and get swatched in store?  It's either too light or it clashes with your undertone, given the foundations mixture (some foundations lean orange, since yellow,  white, etc etc) @serraomo .  A color corrector can help, or addition of bronzer to warm up specific areas.  You can also mix it with a darker complexion product to see if it's less light.

Hey thank you for your recommendation, unfortunately I cannot return to the store .

what Colour correct you suggest I use and the brand ?

Depends on what your desired result is, but I'm guessing something in the blue or yellow family, because it's possible you have olive undertones.

It's color theory.  I'm neutral/olive so if a foundation is too light, adding a brown/pink or a deep/warm shade helps.  If it's orange, blue helps.  I have the elf camo color corrector in blue, but there's other options- make up for ever I think has/had a full palette, I think Nyx did/does too and L.A. Girl has a bunch of different ones.

While the greys aren't here, you can see the color correcting shades in the middle based on skin tone and (I think) undertone.
