Beauty Blender Quality...

I've been a loyaly Beauty Blender user for years. I replace mine every 2 months so typically I go through 6/year. 

Since the beginning of this year I've noticed a difference in the quality of the sponge; I can't get it clean no matter what I use when before it was easy to get out stains. My blenders break apart and tear easily. I just opened a new one two weeks ago and it's already snagged. 

I don't have long nails, I rotate between BB solid cleanser, Sephora Solud Cleanser and Philosophy Purity to clean them. 

Has anyone else noticed this?

@GG84 You might want to take note and see if there's a batch number/lot number issue. If you've got backups purchased around the same time, maybe return and swap them out? Sounds like you're doing everything else the same/right so it might be lax QC over at BB.

@GG84 I have not noticed a change in quality in my sponges. I do have long nails, and do not necessarily go easy on my blenders. I've never had a tear, snag or anything else happen to them except discoloration. I only clean them with beauty blender brand cleansers, Solid or liquid. I clean them about once a week with the solid and deep clean every other week with the liquid. Your problem may be with the other cleansers that you are using. Invest in a bottle of the bb liquid cleanser. It is very conditioning to the sponges and may prevent the ripping. I do have two in rotation at all times, one for liquids and creams, the other for powders. I also replace them about every three months, though i cut open a pro bb that i had been using for liquids at the three month mark and it was perfectly fine, so i will probably go longer from now on.

Definetly not a problem with the cleanser. I use Beauty Blender solid cleanser among others which I have always done. I wash mine daily.
