American Must-Haves

I'm visiting the US from Canada soon and I was wondering which of the American exclusive products and brands are must-haves from Sephora, Ulta and other cosmetic stores. I'm also really interested in Spf products since we have tighter regulations here and have less variety. Thanks! 🙂

@SpaceLlama Flower beauty is easier to get in the US and I really like their liquid blushes. If you can, swing by a SiJCP, sometimes they have sets that the regular sized Sephoras don't have. Stop by Marshalls and TJMaxx and scope out the beauty sections, sometimes you can get pretty lucky! Some Targets also have really big beauty sections now.

Yes! I love Target for their beauty and cold coffee sections haha. I miss them so much 😭 I've never tried Flower beauty, but everything from the brand looks cute and affordable so I'll keep a lookout. Any brands you recommend from Target, @makeitup305 ? 🙂

@SpaceLlama I'll add to this as I think of more but DE Babyfacial, Any Sunscreens, and the Sephora Favourites kits are different as well (Bonus points if you can find the SIJCP ones!)

@SpaceLlama oh I buy setting sprays with sunscreen in them too.  Theres one from Coola, but I buy the Ulta brand one the most.  I like having it to spray myself afterwork but before I take off my make up etc.

We actually have coola in Canada. To be honest, I keep forgetting to try their products out. I've heard lots of good things about their products, @missjeanie ! I'll have to keep a lookout for the Ulta one 🙂 I know mac sells a setting spray with SPF too, but it doesn't seem to be available in Canada 😞

Great suggestions, @missjeanie ! I've gotten great Sephora faves kits in JcP. Sometimes they're even on sale 😍 I'll be sure to be on the lookout for a JcP with a Sephora!

Already ahead of you, @GG84 ! I'm going to bring this to the beach to try it out 🙂 I'll let you know how it is. I'm hoping they have other supergoop items for sale at the sephoras I'll visit. The setting powders with SPF seem amazing.

@SpaceLlama I can't recall exactly, but I feel like everyone was raving about the DE Baby Facial but it specifically was not sold in Canada? I have a mini somewhere that was quite nice, but I do prefer other AHA peels.

Yes! It's sooo good. I was lucky enough to try it since @itsfi sent me a deluxe size of it. It really does live up to its name, @MissPuff 😍I'll be visiting Connecticut, Rhode Island and maybe some other surround states like New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Not sure yet haha. Mostly going to the beach and shopping 🙂

That's very cool, @snoflakefaerie ! Boston is a great city. The fam and I already visited this year so I don't think we'll go back just yet. The Italian neighbourhood was by far my fave part. So pretty 😍
