Hey ladies,

I am looking for some recommendations for your favourite lipliners. I love the trendy look of a brown liner right now, but when i do it I feel like it just looks like I got into a box of chocolates, lol! 

My lips are naturally sort of a berry colour, so i feel like that might have something to do with it. I am going to a wedding later this month and i plan on wearing the summer friday's lip butter in brown sugar but would love a liner with it. please let me know any of your suggestions!

@kwinsee, the brown lip liner trend is very pretty but I hear ya about looking like getting into a box of chocolates. I mean, nothing wrong with that, but if I'd rather actually get into a box of chocolates than just look like I did. 🤣

Merit has some good browns as well. I have MERIT Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner Bespoke (light warm taupe) and MERIT Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner Capricorn (dark brown) but couldn't find the latter. MERIT Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner Brownstone  is also a nice shade, has a tinge of red/purple undertones to it, if I'm remembering right.

These are from Rhode. They're too new to tag at the moment. Balance is a neutral-to-neutral-warm caramel brown. Stretch is a neutral darker brown. Spin is a plummy brown that with a light hand and diffusing with my fingers I often wear with a lip gloss and balm similar in tone to Summer Fridays Brown Sugar.

@kwinsee , do you prefer a warm brown, cool brown or neutral brown?  And are you going for a contrast or a more natural look?  I'm going to add a pic/response with a bunch of brown liners, because they'd work with the Summer Fridays, but the tones of them are slightly different.
