Purple Lipstick??

So, I am wearing Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lop in Roxy. I am on the fence on whether I like this on me and it always looks great on fair skin. I am not sure if I can pull this color off.

I am leaning towards Yes but my husband thinks I look like a nefarious person with this on and doesn't like it, lol 🙂 What do you guys think? Might it be too dark of a purple on me? It's weird cuz I love Nars Powermatte London Calling and it seems like a darker, greyer purple than this. Thanks for your suggestions 🙂Kat von d roxy

Nope, it’s not too dark on you. It looks vibrant and beautiful! 

I love London Calling too. Wild Night is another great Powermatte: it’s a dark eggplant color. I wear a lot of purple lipsticks and think everyone should own at lease one, because it really is a color that works on everyone. It definitely works great on you!

The wild night one almost looks black on me and would need some dramatic eye look which I cannot do. Normally dont think eye makeup is necessary w lipstick, but without it, wild night would be too odd on me:) Thanks for re-affirming the Roxy color.

At least I can say I do own 4 other purples in my collection 🙂 :

The brighter colors always take some getting used to, but you can definitely rock that shade!
