Perfect Nude ?

Hi Everyone, 

I love makeup but I’ve always been self conscious about my lips because they’re on the smaller side and I’ve never wanted to draw attention to them. It wasn’t until lately that I’ve decided to try and embrace them a bit more and get into trying new lipsticks and glosses. Does anyone have any recommendations on what would be a good every day lipstick/liner/gloss for someone with pale skin and blonde hair? Do you have any tips on how to make lips appear to be a bit bigger and more even?

@kennykris   The Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polishe Glosses and Lip Creams do a great job of giving the illusion of fuller lips.  The glosses are pretty sheer, so you should have several several shades to choose from to achieve a nude look.  They also contain a mild lip plumper.

One product that I tried recently for the first time really helped define my lip line and make it look fuller, as I was able to draw a line above where my lips are receding and give them some oomph.  I tried Bite Beauty's The Lip Pencil as a lipstick, and was very pleased with the results. I'm not sure which type of nude you are looking for, but there is a website called Temptalia that has swatches of most, if not all, of the shades.

A lip product that works in a similar way but is more of a lipstick is Bite Beauty's Matte Creme Lip Crayon.  It has 2000 good reviews, and is recommended to be a long-lasting product.

@kennykris I recommend using a KAT VON D - Everlasting Lip Liner - OG Lolita,

with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Smudge-Proof Matte Liquid Lipstick Ashton

and top it off with GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper Gloss - Clear. The lip liner defines the shape of the lips, the color highlights the lips and the plumper instantly improves lip volume. I hope this helps!

I really love all of the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bombs. They are supposed to all be universal colors. They are $18/each. That may be a good place to start. I also recommend the SEPHORA COLLECTION Outrageous Effect Volume Lip Gloss. It comes in a nude shade and also a sheer pale pink.

I also suggest using a cooler toned lip liner as well. Kat Von D makes a great one called Bow and Arrow.

@kennykris You could try Charlotte Tilbury Iconic lip liner and overline your lips, get a lip plumper, and try Pat McGrath lipgloss trio in cool tone.

@kennykris I personally do not use a lip plumper since it makes my lips look crazy but I know people use CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Collagen Lip Bath Gloss, MAC has glosses that plump the lips as welll as Buxom

@kennykris laneige lip mask gives my lips more fullness over time but plumpers like algenist lip genius will give you that quick tingley plumping effect.
