Matte Mayhem!!

I've been trying to find a matte lipstick or a liquid matte lipstick that doesn't flake or dry up, or leave streaks before I even add a second coat to my lips😫 Do you have any matte lipstick recommendations that may be useful to me and anyone else who has gone through this dilemma??

Like everybody else, I love the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick, but my other two favs are the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick and Anastasia Beverly Hills Smudge-Proof Matte Liquid Lipstick

It took me the longest time to find my perfect lip product!

i really like the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick . Its a liquid lipstick, but its hydrating and not drying, as well as easy to apply and matte! 

This formula is so light and airy. Sometimes I forget i even have it on! (Its also long lasting)

Nars is a good matte if you want moisture.

I feel I should warn that most lipstick “flaking up” is not an issue with the lipstick but with your lips. If you are dehydrated, any non moisturizing lipstick will flake — because it’s your lips that are flaking.

@CaramelPandora  My favorite matte lipsticks are Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Hydrating Lipstick .  Super smooth when applied, and take well to adding additional layers!

I found that the Huda beauty matte and satin finish liquid lipsticks worked really well on me. They both  lasted for around 3-5 hours (depending on if I ate anything) but it held up pretty well. 

Also if u don’t mind me asking, which lipstick were you using before that you had problems with?

tip: if u find that a matte lipstick is too drying, add some lip balm

@CaramelPandora have you tried the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick oh my gosh!! The formula is outstanding!! So many nice shades to choose from too
