Lipstick

I’m looking for some suggestions on how to prep my lips before I apply lipstick.

I really only wear liquid lipstick, and a good tip that I found is to put on a heavy balm first and then blot it with a tissue before applying your liquid lip.  the bite beauty agave mask works well for me.  having a bit of a glossy layer on there also helps the color to apply more smoothly I find.  Maybe do a touch of exfoliation beforehand either with a lip scrub or a toothbrush or something like that, maybe even a paper towel if you're in a pinch. people have all kinds of elaborate rituals for their lips before applying lipstick but i prefer a simple approach
