Lip color

Guys. Seriously. I NEED to find a dark brown lip liner and a dark red lip that will actually look good on brown skin asap 😭

Everyone keeps recommending me red lipsticks n lip glosses but they aren’t dark brown and it looks horrible and my tan friends give me brown lip liners that literally match my lip color I hate it sm 💔💔💔

Any recs??

@eliwrldwide  Hmm, how dark a red do you want? Here’s a recent swatch photo I took of 2 of my favorite dark reds on my own hand. (For reference, I’m in many brands’ “medium-deep to deep” skin tone range.) Both lipsticks are matte bullets. PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance™ Lipstick McMenamy 200  costs a lot more than SEPHORA COLLECTION #LIPSTORIES Lipstick 33 Wanderlust, but both perform great on my lips. 😄 Are these 2 shades in the ballpark? 

Thinner/smaller swatches are lip liners. I tried to pick shades you can still buy (though not at Sephora), otherwise I’d have also included a discontinued liner.

Also, can you name some of the brown lip liners that are too close to your natural lip color? That’ll give us a shade reference, so we can more easily find darker brown liners for you. 🙂
