Blue is one of the lipstick shades I wear most often. Here are some of the blues I’ve worn for the 100 Days of Lipstick challenge (https://community.sephora.com/t5/Lip-Lovers/100-Days-of-Lipstick-Challenge/m-p/4103047#M65893😞 

Hearts are favorites; Iced Out was decluttered, sadly.

I’ve been decluttering lipstick this year and, sadly, some of my blues didn’t make the cut. Iced Out is a fantastic liquid glossy metallic, one I loved for a long time, but it turned very goopy in the tube over time. Applying it became a chore. And this lipstick has always bled like crazy... it’s one of 2 lipsticks I always used to test lip primers. So Iced Out is no longer in my collection. 😞

I’m keeping Young Attitude, a liquid matte, but won’t wear it nearly as often as Getty since the latter is a cream bullet that performs amazingly well. Getty is the holy grail dark teal lipstick I’d spent years looking for. 💙 I also had 2 Sugarpill teals (U4EA in both cream bullet and liquid matte formats) but they’re not nearly as good as CP Getty, so they’re in my declutter box. 

I have other blues not pictured here. MAC usually knocks blue—especially solid bullets—outta the park, and I’ve got one or two more of theirs to wear for this 100 Days challenge. I have a Bite blue (Squid Ink, which is more of a black-blue) I haven’t worn yet, a Sephora liquid matte, and a few others. 

A few other blues I’ve decluttered this year: Too Faced Melted Matte in Who’s Zoomin’ Who (great color, but formula degrades over time), OFRA liquid matte in Bondi Beach (my heartbreaker declutter: GORGEOUS color, but unbearably dry and crumbly formula), and an ABH liquid matte that finally made me realize I should stop giving their mattes chances. (They’re all too drying for me.) Oh, an NARS Velvet Matte pencil in Unspoken was too dry and not pigmented enough. 

I’ve tried Urban Decay Time, both the solid and liquid versions. I liked the color a lot, but neither performed well. The liquid was particularly patchy and very hard to even out. 

Wow, this is a lot more than I meant to write about blue lipsticks. 😂
