Best long lasting liquid lipstick

I’m looking for a VERY long lasting liquid lipstick or stain for dry winter lips. I’m going to Vegas for a week and want something that won’t transfer with every drink and something I don’t have to constantly reapply

I have found that the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick,KAT VON D - Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, and the NARS - Powermatte Lip Pigment are some of the longest lasting liquid lipsticks I have tried. I hope this helps!

NARS - Powermatte Lip Pigment is my top recommendation. It’s a long-wearing liquid matte in one of the only 2 liquid matte formulas I can comfortably wear. (The other is MAKE UP FOR EVER - Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick, but the Powermattes outlast these.)  Very pigmented, easy to apply, never bleeds/feathers on me, and comes in a good range of colors. 

If your lips are as dry as mine are, I also recommend using a lip primer beneath a liquid matte. My gold standard is MAC Prep + Prime Lip. And of course, be sure to exfoliate before applying a liquid matte or it’ll cling to any dry patches on your lips. 

If you don’t like liquid mattes, consider a ColourPop Lux bullet lipstick. Yes, you’ll get transferring onto glasses as you drink, but most of my Lux bullets leave a beautiful stain on my lips as they wear down—and they actually hold up pretty well for hours. 

And if you care far more about lipstick longevity than comfort on your lips: the longest lasting lipsticks I’ve ever worn were TARTE - Tarteist™ Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint. Personally, I hate the way these feel on my lips: they’re far too drying for me, even with balm and lip primer. I hate them so much, I decluttered them all last year. 😄 But if you reeeally want something that absolutely will not budge, this is it.

If the criteria is longest lasting liquid lipstick, I'd have to say, without a doubt, it's Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink. I got a sample of this to review, and it did NOT move. I mean, when I tried to take it off, I couldn't get it off! It not only lasts through the greasiest meals, it lasts literally for days! It leaves a definite stain on your lips that you will need a blow torch to remove.

I've probably tried every liquid lipstick out there, high to low end, and absolutely nothing stays like Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink. If you want something you can never, ever get off your lips, try it.

I only wear Liquid Lipstick. I work 10 hour days seeing 14 + clients/day and I do not have time to worry about my lipstick. 

I do caution if your lips are dry, liquid lipstick will enhance the look of your dry lips. I would exfoliate first, my favorite is FRESH - Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator then make sure at night you are using a good lip mask or lip balm. 

My HG liquid lipsticks that I never have to reapply are:

Hi, @pirouette84!  The best lipstick I found for that is Pat McGrath TransMatte.  The closest liquid lipstick is probably KVD or Stilla.

@pirouette84 for dry lips I usually put on a balm or salve like the ROSEBUD PERFUME CO. - Rosebud Salveor Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 Original, While I do the rest of my face and dab off excess before putting on a liquid lip. For longevity - the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipsticknnever lets me down. It’s a great price, comes in a ton of colors and does not budge. I also am obsessed with SMASHBOX - Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick. The mattes and metallics last a long time even with food and drink. Have fun in Vegas!!!
