Best lip brushes? And application tips!

I've been interested in lip brushes for bullets,  but have no experience with them.  What are some good ones?  And are there any tips I should know about?  Thanks!

@greeneyedgirl107 - I also use the MAKE UP FOR EVER 304 Lip Brush  .  I like that it has a lid.  I use LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm Peach under my lipstick.  You can also put your lipstick on from the tube and then smooth it out with the lip brush.

@Titian06 I didn't think of that last tip!  I also didn't know the MUFE had a lid!  That's a game changer for me.

@SportyGirly125 another one I had no idea about!  I just looked into the MUFE one and it doesn't seem to be sold at Sephora anymore.  I might need to pick up the MAC from Ulta.  My cart there is getting big!

I often forget to use a lip brush, but i do like the luxury of it and very crisp lines. Also great for mixing colors. I agree with @SportyGirly125 about lip balm and Kissu is a winner, though I also like Rosebud Perfume Co. Minted Rose Lip Balm Minted Rose Lip Balm .

@greeneyedgirl107 I have one from MAC.  I like to dip it into the lipstick bullet and then apply it.

@SportyGirly125 I'll have to give it a go!  My concern is that when I apply some bullets I get too thick of a coating and the color is too dark.  But when I've had bullets applied by MUA via a lip brush, I don't get that slippery lipstick feel, and my lips feel dry.  I don't know if I'll just have to apply a little more or use a lip topper of some sort or what.

@greeneyedgirl107 What I like to do when using a bullet is not to hold it too close to the top more towards the back of it. That way I apply a lighter layer and can build from it. I also like to angle it for the outer corners of my lips.

Do you use a lip balm before makeup application?

@SportyGirly125 great tip!!!  I'll have to try it.  No, I don't use lip balm underneath.   Do u think that would help?  Which ones do u rec?  😊
