Beginner Lip Liner!

I need your best lip liner recommendation for someone who NEVER uses lip liner! My daily lip product of choice is typically a clear (or very light pink) gloss or balm. However, lately I have been playing around with more tinted lip products, and now I think I'm ready to wade into the deep pool of lip liners. I'm looking for a product that is easy for a beginner, does not smudge easily, and does not need to be re-applied often. What would you recommend?

I'd recommend MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Extreme Waterproof Lip Liner 606 Wherever Walnut as a great beginner shade and it lasts for a good length of time before needing to be re-applied.

@faithnmoore  I really like the lip liner from Sephora collection. SEPHORA COLLECTION Retractable Rouge Gel Lip Liner 28 sink or suede is my favorite.

Now I use Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner Iconic Nude PAT McGRATH LABS Mini Nude Venus Lip Trio: Mattetrance Edition Natasha Denona My Dream Lip Crayon - Long Lasting Easy Glide Lip Liner MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner 606 Wherever Walnut 

I choose colors closer to my lip color for an effortless outline that goes with a lot of shades.
