Foundation Recommendations?

Hi! I’m a newbie at makeup, so obviously I don’t know anything about it at all. My friend recommended the best place to start is with a Korean cushion foundation since I was somewhat familiar with Korean skincare in general. Can anyone recommend a brand or type for acne prone and oily skin types? My friend is taking me out to shop for basics this Friday but I want to at least go in knowing what I want or need. Thanks!

Cushions are my best friend! All of the ones I've tried come in very neat packaging so it's very convenient to take anywhere with you. If you are looking for a good Korean cushion brand, check out Laneige, Banila Co., Hera or Klavuu.
