Hello BIC! This is the official thread for the brand new - exclusive to Sephora - makeup line GXVE by Gwen Stefani. This thread is a dedicated place for gratis recipients to share their feedback, unboxings, and swatches for the incoming GXVE by Gwen Stefani products.  Let's get B-A-N-A-N-A-S and dive right in!

Founded by Gwen to share her love of beauty the line is inspired by bold clean colors and elevated classics that are loved and worn by her everyday. I love the fact that everything offered in the line is Clean Beauty certified, Vegan, cruelty free, stage worn and tested before being approved by Gwen as Hella Good.

I really like how the black liner is named Spiderwebs (so fitting). It definitely is an intense black, and it applies smoothly. It works well on both the waterline and lid. I was most impressed by how long wearing it is. I definitely have to use an oil-based eye makeup remover to get it all the way off, and it sets very quickly once applied. It think it most certainly is waterproof, and I love how it doesn't transfer to my under eyes. Great product!

The blue version, Bathwater, is another cute name! It's described as an electric cobalt blue. I typically don't wear blue liner, but this is vivid yet very wearable. It gives such a neat pop of color to a neutral look. It is very creamy, and it works well on both the waterline and lid. I didn't have any issues with transfer, and it's definitely waterproof.

I'm not swayed by celeb beauty brands, but this is the first one that made me take notice. I wouldn't say mine and Gwen Stefani's personal styles are the same (she is more funky), but her makeup looks amazing. More than that, it is universal because it looks like it suits everybody! I love me a red lip and her shades of red manage to break the mold and look different than the typical 💄. I love the eyeliner colours too- the cobalt blue looks stunning! I also love how clean and simple her eyeshadow palette is. So many crazy palettes have been hitting the market, but they scream makeup artist. This palette looks like it can be dressed up or down, used for an event or even day to day. I love how she did everything. Everyone's swatches and photos are on point as well!

@nyfashionista I loved everything from the line other than the eyeshadow palette in Simple Kind of Life because all the shadows end up looking almost the same on me. I would have loved to have a darker shadow to be able to add dimension. Other than that I really liked everything, specially the lippies ❤️❤️❤️💄💄💄

I love this flattering shade of red! It looks so beautiful on everyone here. There was a bit of transfer even though it's a matte, but I appreciate how it didn't dry out my lips. The formula is very comfortable to wear, so I hope there are more shades to come in this line. Overall, great formula and nice creamy texture! I think it would apply better with a liner. It would be cool if some are added to this line, as I don't think I own a red liner and clearly could use one.

I really enjoy the satin finish of the Anaheim Shine Clean High-Performance Satin Lipstick. It is nice and lightweight and comfortable to wear. I was surprised at how long-lasting this formula was for a satin. It was easy to apply, and I love the scent. The original recipe shade is beautiful, and I hope some additional shades are released!
