Sephora take twenty bar code

Does anybody have the barcode to use in store for the promotion take 20 that ends today?

They are supposed to have it at the register, you shouldn't need to bring it in with you.

That’s what I thought, but they keep insisting that if I wanted to use the “take twenty” I needed to produce the email and barcode to do so. I ended up buying nothing 🙁

@Lynnie32 There is no barcode for the 20% off on sale items. The promo code is TWENTYOFF and should work in-store or online. 02B338A4-EA3B-4587-81AC-F2EB34C6CE65.jpeg

This is what I thought, but they are insisting I need a barcode from my email and I cannot find one. So needless to say I will not be making a purchase today. Thank you very much for the help

@Lynnie32 That’s weird, the email that was sent out just has a  promocode to be presented at checkout. I would suggest contacting customer service for clarification.

@Mrose251I showed the cashier the promo from my Sephora app with all the info and they still insisted that I needed a barcode from an email

Have you spoken to a manager?  Either way, get names so you can let Sephora know they lost a sale because of the store not knowing what is going on.  They can't fix it if they don't know about it, and having specific names will be important for retraining purposes.

@flamingolegs It was the manager, who was not present, that left the instructions. It’s a very small store inside JCP and I know all of the staff by name. I had the same issue earlier this week and just made the purchase anyway. Just frustrating that this still goes on with all the technology available, lack of communication is still a major issue.
