Holiday Greetings to the lovely people of BIC whichever holiday you celebrate! 

As many of you are aware, @TeamBIC has this naughty little habit of turning into a bunch of festive elves and spoiling a random number of active BIC community contributors with a surprise holiday treat come this time of year!  Yeah the imagery is there of TeamBIC in pointy green hats making the magic happen while sipping on hot cocoa.

I’m sure all of you are eager to see what they’ve been up to this season!  I know I am!  They never fail to impress me with their creative box designs (my inner cat loves the boxes as much as the contents) Of course the contents are always wonderful too;);)

This thread is for expressing your community excitement, making wild or educated sleuthed-out guesses as to what could be inside  and for sharing with the community, photos of any gifts you receive, and also for congratulating other community members on their awesome luck and for making BIC the beauty haven it is!   

And once people have had a chance to try out their…ahhhh thé suspense is too much!!!😝, this is a great place to both write and read the best quality product reviews!  It doesn’t get more honest than from the mouths of BIC members you talk to everyday and who know exactly what kind of information you like!  It’s also a great place to ask questions on any products members have received and know you’ll get a speedy response!

Speaking of gratis that works for me, I have been wearing the Kilian Apple Brandy fragrance from last year all week!!!  A continuous thank you to @TeamBIC for every single time I smell like spicy mince meat tarts🥰🥰🥰🥧

Also, I heard someone say today they finished their holiday shopping.  Show of hands, who’s finished or, ahem… started their holiday shopping?  😆✋🏻 I started and am nowhere near finished status; as collected and organized as that would be.

another day, another product review! today, i tried the JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk 3 oz / 90 mL . i was already excited because of how much i loved the scent, but didn't want to overdo it with all the new products at once. i washed my hair with my normal shampoo and conditioner routine. i towel dried my hair, and then applied about a pump and a half of the JVN from the nape of the neck down to the ends. i normally would also use a detangler product (right now i'm working through a Marc Anthony product) and a heat protectant if i'm blowdrying, but because the JVN is listed as being a leave in blow dry product, i skipped both to be able to give a fair assessment of how the JVN worked.

overall review - this is a great product. i love the scent and the texture. my hair detangled really easily, which i'm super happy about! my hair also didn't feel heavy or greasy. some products with this texture make my hair feel like theres a coating or film on it, but i didnt find that at all! once my hair was blowdried, it did feel soft and was shiny. ive been trying to get my hair waves back, and i did see some pattern, so that definitely a good sign on how lightweight this is. overall, im happy with this, and would repurchase it.

cons/things to note - while my hair is definitely soft, i think it definitely could be more hydrated. the ends of my hair didn't feel extra conditioned. i also did notice my hair was a little frizzy, but this was mostly at the top of my head. kind of a weird con because i know i didnt apply product there but it would make my hair so greasy if i did. 

overalll i really like this product, and how it would be able to replace two products in my routine, plus how incredibly soft my hair is! 4⭐ because its not as hydrating/conditioning as i would have hoped

@quspork thanks! i like to be realistic, because i know it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of trying a sparkly, new product (i'm the worst for this!!), and give everything 5/5 stars because it's fun haha

@Loretta55 i'm the exact same way! the BondiBoost Intensive Leave-In Scalp Spray Treatment for Thinning Hair 4.23 oz/ 125 mL has helped with volume and thickness at the root, and it doesnt weigh my hair down. i use it before bed, and it doesnt look greasy the next morning! i recently picked up the BondiBoost Procapil Hair Tonic for Thinning Hair 4.23 oz/ 125 mL as well, but havent tried it yet

My problem is not thinning hair @cianni but that I have a lot of thick wavy  and wiry tangled hair. I have tried multiple products to tame the knots but I feel like my hair has a mind of its own. The bottom layer is an absolute mess.

@Loretta55 oh i see! ive taken lately to sleeping in different variations of braid styles. ii spray it with a detangler/leave in conditioner, comb it out and then do the braids. if i don't my hair turns into one big knot overnight and then i basically have to wash it and deeply condition it to get the tangles out. i hardly use hair spray for that reason too - absolutely impossible to get a brush through my hair unless i wash it the same night when i get home

I usually pineapple my hair every night @cianni . I sleep in a Grace Eleyae Adjustable Slap Satin-Lined Cap . I only brush or comb my hair when washing not to disturb the curls/waves pattern.

Wow, the holidays really are HAIR again!! Thank you SO SO SO much to the lovelies @TeamBIC , I'm also blown away by the generosity of this gratis. It's clear we weren't on the knotty list this year. Excited to wrap up my hair with a bow and this microfiber towel. And how cute is this silk pillow case??

I am blessed to have a lot of hair, but my partner was just worrying about a thinning hair line, so we'll test OUAI Hydrating Scalp Serum for Healthy, Fuller Looking Hair 2 oz / 60 mL this out to see how it hydrates the scalp for me and makes his hair fuller. 

I actually haven't used the Moroccanoil Moroccanoil Treatment Hair Oil , since I used to keep my hair short and adding oil to greasy hair wasn't ever my jam. But now that I've got longer locs, I'll be trying this out, mostly to smooth my ends. 

I don't blow dry or use heat on my hair, but the Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer and JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk 3 oz / 90 mL look like solid products.
