Holiday Greetings to the lovely people of BIC whichever holiday you celebrate! 

As many of you are aware, @TeamBIC has this naughty little habit of turning into a bunch of festive elves and spoiling a random number of active BIC community contributors with a surprise holiday treat come this time of year!  Yeah the imagery is there of TeamBIC in pointy green hats making the magic happen while sipping on hot cocoa.

I’m sure all of you are eager to see what they’ve been up to this season!  I know I am!  They never fail to impress me with their creative box designs (my inner cat loves the boxes as much as the contents) Of course the contents are always wonderful too;);)

This thread is for expressing your community excitement, making wild or educated sleuthed-out guesses as to what could be inside  and for sharing with the community, photos of any gifts you receive, and also for congratulating other community members on their awesome luck and for making BIC the beauty haven it is!   

And once people have had a chance to try out their…ahhhh thé suspense is too much!!!😝, this is a great place to both write and read the best quality product reviews!  It doesn’t get more honest than from the mouths of BIC members you talk to everyday and who know exactly what kind of information you like!  It’s also a great place to ask questions on any products members have received and know you’ll get a speedy response!

Speaking of gratis that works for me, I have been wearing the Kilian Apple Brandy fragrance from last year all week!!!  A continuous thank you to @TeamBIC for every single time I smell like spicy mince meat tarts🥰🥰🥰🥧

Also, I heard someone say today they finished their holiday shopping.  Show of hands, who’s finished or, ahem… started their holiday shopping?  😆✋🏻 I started and am nowhere near finished status; as collected and organized as that would be.

Lol 😅 same. I usually watch multiple how to videos,  looking for someone with hair like me and that seems legit. And mix and match the advice to what I think will work for me and my hair @cianni

@CynthieLu thanks for the description and photo!! how do you roll them out? i feel like i ruin the curl at the end pulling my hair out of them

I think this size(the 3 jumbo) is more for oomph and a bit of a wave if anything, just gently @cianni I have long fine hair that breaks *easily* so I never brush my hair wet or pull or tug, I just gently unravel them. I figure with hair, it'll only behave if you make so I play around alot to get it to do anything other than be straight(its natural go to)

The smaller roller ones can do a bit of curl if I do my whole head I've got a ton of that size (and mousse before if helpful.) I don't put them in wet, just freshly dried 😄 and I put them in sideways if I'm going for Curl,

I'd say watch a bunch of YouTube videos and when something looks like it would work for your hair type give it a go.  I usually pick up little things from a bunch of different videos 😆

@CynthieLu thanks for the detailed post! I'll try to focus on volume (which im more than happy to have extra of), and less pulling haha. I've been in a wormhole of best/worst of 2022 and declutter videos, so once I'm done with those, I'll try to find some YT vids for more tips 🙂

I just find videos so helpful, when I find someone with my hair type I'm like oooh watching closely, because everyone is so different. Like for example braids. I have super fine hair but soooo much of it. My braids look so wonky at the ends. I found a video of a girl tying a silk scarf into her braid because it filled out the ends so her hair doesn't look wierd when taking them out *a fine hair issue for sure* and I just love finding stuff that I'm like oh yes! This is like my hair lol @cianni

Used OUAI Hydrating Scalp Serum for Healthy, Fuller Looking Hair 2 oz / 60 mL and JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk 3 oz / 90 mL today. So far I like them both and how I didn’t need to use texture spray for volume and that my hair felt soft after styling with the JVN milk.
