I am always so disappointed by Sephora‘s customer service and sampling and points initiatives. The points are virtually unuseable because the monthly samples that pop up on beauty insiders sell out immediately. I doubt they even have these items in stock. It’s impossible for every single item to sell out every single month within 1 ms of becoming available online. It’s also a scam that you can only use $10 off at a time unless you’ve spent over $2000 at the store in one year. What kind of points to dollars system is this. In addition to this, every single time that I’ve ordered online to have my items delivered to my home, you are given the choice to pick out samples, and I am never given the samples that I choose. There’s literally no point to you guys listing these samples and letting people choose them if you never send them the right samples. This has been my experience for multiple years in a row for every single order that I’ve ever had from Sephora. This is not a one off. This is not just a case of them selling out quickly, this is orchestrated by Sephora. They don’t care what you get as long as they’re making money. I encourage everyone to look for alternative sources to buy your beauty items because Sephora is the worst customer service and product fulfilment that I’ve ever had with a company in my entire life. I don’t care whether this is listed in a policy somewhere online just to back up the company for their incompetency. Ridiculous.

You don't get samples in the store unless you are with your wife. I get plenty of samples when I make my purchase online. I have very good positive experience with Sephora. I think its your computer cache system not allowing you to make those selection for your samples? Sephora is a very good online cosmetics store!

It wasn’t always like this. The associates would put samples in your bag without you having to ask. I always find it disappointing that most stores have 5 or so 100 point rewards and maybe a 250 or 500 pt reward.
