Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

How is it that I can go to the rewards bazaar the minute I receive the notification of a new rewards and it's sold out as soon as it posts??? Something is not quite right, either Sephora is playing just to get you to log in and be tempted to make a purchase, or the good rewards are being given to employees who have first hand knowlege.  This reward system sucks!!!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I so agree!!! And I feel like the rewards are just awful too!  They can do a better job putting out some point perk products that people actually want!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I love a lot of the point perks they're making available.  And if they're selling out... other people must enjoy them as well?  The 100$ rouge reward is my favourite addition since they've revamped the bazaar @Jenna2827 !

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

Lol

you are alone!
Girls you will be shorted too,,, it’s a matter of time before they steal your points or offer samples instead of trials… if your new to this … huge difference between a trials and measly sample… shady Sephora.., you track our sales …. Even label reviews and comments as,,,…’vib’/ ‘rogue’/ ‘insider’ in a sad attempt to make you feel inadequate and purchase more for a faux status symbol, or as if a one term is more important Than the other….. truth Sephora doesn’t give a … they want you to feel inadequate and purchase more…and if you happen to react and post about it they will redact it … true story talking to you le mar and Sephora … shame shame shame thank god for emergency rooms!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

OMG I so agree with you! This is so frustrating and ironically, toroughly unrewarding. Honestly, I’ve been wondering if Sephora Reward Bazar is a sham.

Except for tiny ‘trial’ versions of products I’ll never really need, the bazar has never much else available—except ‘out of stock’ tease. This is downright infuriating. As of now, I am a Rouge client with 4,348 points available. I spend a lot of money in my local store. I purchase my La Mer products there.

Sephora, either reward your loyal customers or don’t. But for Pete sake, make a choice and steer away from offering your clientele petty crumbs!!!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

Hey there @Mackenzie61 I find that my favourite redemption in the rewards bazaar has been the 100$ rouge promo.  Getting to spend the 100$ on whatever I want is great for me since I don't typically enjoy having a lot of smaller sample size products.  Since your rouge you may want to look into snagging one of these.  They come up available every Tuesday and Thursday around 9am pacific time.  I've grabbed a few and see them around that time quite a bit. Good luck

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

@missjeanie   The main issue I’m seeing here is exactly that you need luck to redeem your points.    If you have spent money to earn points you should be able to use them at your leisure on readily available perks and not have to scramble to snag at a predetermined time that’s not convenient for everyone.

It’s fine that the larger perks are more rare and not always going to be readily available but  there should be a lot more 500-2500 point perks available that don’t run out.  Like why do the $$$ rewards run out?  They should be there all the time for anyone who wants to redeem for them.

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I agree! There are lots of options for non-sample perks such as the in store makeovers and such. Seems so stingy to me which is a shame since Sephora has a lot of things to love like the great website and the way the stores look and feel. They are weakening their image with this petty stuff. And lets be real - how much does it truly cost to give away some sample sets? It's scarcity marketing in its baldest form.

Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

exactly because the same thing happens to me also. It is not ok.

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I've always had this experience. And like many of you, I've had Sephora contact me several days after placing a Rouge order to inform me that something is out of stock and was removed from my order -- only to see the item back in stock at the time I receive the email. This happened during the Rouge 20% off days around the holidays. To purchase the product again I had lost the 20% discount. I emailed sephora twice, but never received an answer. Customer service is horrible with this store. And I'm loving Ulta more and more. They may become my go-to beauty store.

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

Checked the "Rewards Bazaar" today to see what was new... wtf is with these denim jackets? And how is it that they're all always sold out. Not that I want one, but it makes no sense. Like everyone on this string has been saying, everything is always sold out. I'm about to switch my loyalty to Ulta because at least with them you actually get rewarded. Why don't you start to rewarding your loyal customers Sephora with something that is actually worth our hard spent money?

RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

It’s so true what’s the point of racking up points for things you can’t get

Re: RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

Absolutely! What’s the point???

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

OK so I've been wanting to do this, but I started a petition to get them to re-vamp the rewards bazaar COMPLETELY. We need as many signatures as possible! Takes less than 5 minutes to sign it, and it would help out so much if you want this wack 'bazaar' to change! 🙂

I think the link works but tell me if it doesn't!

RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

What happened to the link? Sephora delete it?

Re: RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I think sephora did delete it, because I didn't take it down on my own 😞 LOL that's pretty dumb honestly, that when the community wants to voice their opinion about something that needs fixed, it gets taken down. Not sure though, my other post with the same link in it's fine, so maybe it wasn't sephora and it was just a community moderator? idk still really stupid to take it down

Re: RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

@Breezylabradood Sephora doesn't allow outside links on BIC. The moderators on BIC do listen to quite a few of the suggestions put out by members though and I've seen a lot of changes in the rewards bazaar over the last 6 to 8 months that most of the active members are really appreciative of.  I love having the opportunity to cash in my points in exchange for a 100$ reward and appreciate knowing what time new rewards drop. The new full size products that pop up every now and again are a fun way to spend a lower point amount as well if the product interests you.  The products I've seen come up seem to be 'well loved' products by the beauty community as a whole, so I do think they're trying to pick more popular bestseller type products.  I'm also really happy to be getting 1.5 points per dollar spent as a rouge as well.  My points are adding up quicker! And having the options about how I want have the rewards customized for me is great. I can now choose to get 750 points in stead of the flash shipping.  I never cared how long it took products to get to me, so I appreciate having the option of points instead.

These are all suggestions that members had put forward and Sephora responded by changing things to help us better customize for our own program.  If you have any questions about the changes I'm sure a mod would help you!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I am also up to there little sceme there playing. They do add rewards just to make you make a purchase. The last 3 orders I have made I have been able to check out with a reward . A couple hours or a whole day later i get an email saying the reward is out of stock. I check the rewards throughout the night or maybe even the next day and BAM the item that was out of Stock is sitting in the rewards bizzare again . Sephora is becoming a joke. If they don’t start treating there customers right I think lots of ladies will be swapping to ulta !!!! I mean I’d rather save money off my purchase than be tricked !!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

The last two days that rewards have posted, both times I was able to add the Sephora Pro palette to my cart.

I immediately went to check out only to receive a message that in all my years/decades of shopping with Sephora I have never received: "Your shopping cart is outdated. You must open your shopping cart to proceed." WHAT???

I did that yet I still was unable to proceed through checkout.

Interestingly enough, as soon as the palettes were sold out, my cart automatically updated and took me right through checkout.

If I didn't think this was/is a scam before (and I did!), I am now more convinced than ever.

Sephora is a joke.

Never, ever again.

RE: Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

I hear ya !!! Ive recently started shopping there a lot more and it’s like non stop issues!

Re: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE

Sephora has to step it up or else they're gonna lose all their business to ULTA.

RE: Rewards Bazaar is a JOKE
