Points expiring?

I made a purchase in December, to prevent my Beauty Insider points from expiring. Why did Sephora delete Insider points two days earlier than the end of yet month? Points that expire in December should have been deleted on 12/31 or 1/1, not any earlier than that.

Sephora does not delete any points unless your account has been inactive for 18 months, meaning that you do not make a purchase or pick up your birthday gift. Sephora only resets everyone's amount spent back to $0 at the beginning of each calendar year. If your points are missing, you may want to post this in the Customer Support Group so that a MOD can look into this or call CS at 1(877)SEPHORA @Anonymous.
