Half empty perfume samples.

Anyone else receiving this? Happened with my recent salty flower perfume. Which I was even lucky to get because half of my samples of perfumes have been missing completely from my orders!!! Anyone else?!!

Perfume sample vials rarely come full. The standard vials generally hold somewhere around 2mL, but many manufacturers only sample out 1.2 or 1.5 mL...some even only give out 0.8mL per sample. It's normal.

Well, I was addressing your specific complaint about a half full perfume sample, which is normal.

But sadly, it's also normal for Sephora to substitute samples. If you didn't get any samples at all, you can try contacting customer service and they'll probably throw a few points your way, but they'll just say "sample selections aren't guaranteed" if you received a susbtitution.

It's definitely not normal to not receive a sample at all.  If they run out of the sample you chose, they usually replace it with something else.  In all my years as a Rouge, this has never been a problem when ordering online.

If this has been happening regularly, you can contact customer service about it.
