What’s the point of spending all that money to become Rouge then? It’s not a status badge we can wear on our foreheads and Sephora seems to be redefining rouge to get less benefits/perks. I guess Sephora reckons Rouges were dumb dedicated dolls!

Does anyone know if the sale has a limitation on Tatcha products?  They said "Limit: 1 dyson, 3 Drunk Elephant, 5 Morphe, & 3 Tatcha items per SKU per transaction."  I'm not sure if they refer to Rouge/VIB member or Rourge/VIB member's guest.

The limit applies to everyone. If you want to buy more than three of a particular Tatcha item, it looks like you'll have to do them in separate transactions.

I feel like I might go overboard on this one... I'm really on the hunt for a good foundation that lasts all day on my combination skin and doesn't cling to dry patches or texture. My conditioner, cleansing balm and moisturizer are both very nearly empty so I'm on the hunt for something new. 

Here's what I have in my basket so far

HOURGLASS - Vanish™ Seamless Finish Liquid Foundation - Alabaster- I've picked up samples of this foundation a couple of times and I'm waffling on the shade between this and porcelain but I think I'm going to go with this one. This foundation really works well with my skin and does tend to last well throughout the day but I find it a little bit finicky and you have to be super careful not to overapply or it can cake up

LAURA MERCIER - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation - 1N2 Vanille- I've picked up samples of this one too and I think I really liked it but I'm not sure the staying power is there

KEVYN AUCOIN - Foundation Balm - Light EF 02- the reviews on this one so far seem like exactly what I want I just don't know about the shade and it's not carried at my local sephora so I can't sample it. But I love that it comes with a brush. 

CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation- this sounds like everything I want in a foundation

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Moisturizer & Primer with Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid 1.7 oz/ 50 mL- I'm thinking this will take the place of my daytime moisturizer

CLINIQUE Moisture Surge™ Overnight Face Mask to Hydrate + Plump 3.4 oz/ 100 mL-debating over the full size or the mini

HOURGLASS - Ambient® Lighting Powder - Dim Light-I've wanted one of these powders for a while now- I may or may not bite the bullet this time

EVE LOM - The Award Winners- Top contender for cleansing balm, I like that this one seems to be an all in one cleanser- I'm not a fan of double cleansing, I think it's too drying to my skin

SMASHBOX - Cover Shot: Eye Palettes - Canyon - Love the colour story of this one

BRIOGEO - Farewell Frizz™ Smoothing Conditioner- I recently tried the don't despair repair hairmask and love how smooth it made my hair feel and my conditioner is nearly empty so I'm going to try this as a daily conditioner

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Pre-Shampoo Hair Repair Treatment 3.3 oz / 100 mL- repurchase

CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Powder & Sculpt Brush-- need a good brush for powder under eyes blush, contour this seems to fit the bill perfectly

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo Fair/Medium-I want this but I will probably wait until november for this one, It's just too expensive and I already have too many things on my list.

I use MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate - Ivory 12 and it is wonderful on my combination skin! It doesn't crack (not until end of day usually or if I scrunch my face a lot) in my oily zones or look dried out on my dry patches.

@AnnaCassandra   Did you see the deal where if you purchase the BB Vitamin Enriched Face Base and a BB foundation there is a huge discount?  It's almost like bogo.

@Ispend2much6  I haven't seen that- is that on sephora? I decided to hold off on the face base, maybe I'll get it in the fall but if there were a huge discount I could be persuaded to change my mind lol. I'd be down to try a BB foundation.

@AnnaCassandra   Well isn't that interesting.  That deal has been available for at least a month, and it even stacked with the half-price Sephora brush with the purchase of any foundation, but it appears that the deal was taken down this afternoon.

Have you tried Kat Von D’s “Lock-It” foundation? I have been an only MAC Studio Fix girl since high school (18 yrs almost...eek), but one night my boyfriend was taking me to dinner and I forgot that I had ran out the day before. I didn’t have time to get anywhere besides Sephora @ JCP bc it’s only 5 minutes from my house, and KVD was the best color match to my skin. At first I just got the full coverage Lock-It powder foundation. I loved it so much I went back and I got the liquid Lock-It foundation as well with the Lock-It setting powder just to have on nights I really want to get jazzed up. I’m so impressed with the coverage and pore minimization that I will stay on the KVD train for good. Also, you only have to pay the $36 for the compact once, and then after that you can order pan refills online for $19 and pop your old one out and replace it with the new one. I know MAC has the recycle program which I’ve always loved, and have attained the majority of my eye shadow collection from there due to that perk, but lately I’ve become all Sephora and have been getting into Huda, Anastasia, NARS, and Urban Decay for eyeshadows.

I haven’t actually tried any KVD products, I used to be pretty MAC exclusive but I’ve moved to a city without a MAC store so now I pretty much shop at Sephora and SDM. But when I made the switch to Sephora is when all of that drama went down so I kind of just don’t want to support the brand. There’s no shortage of good quality products from other brands so I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on anything groundbreaking

I haven't tried Eve Lom although I've heard good things for years. I've been using the Physician's Formula cleansing balm for the past week or so, I hear it's a dupe for Farmacy. If you wanted to try something else, my heart is still owned by the Josie Maran cleansing oil. I will probably repurchase that one in the fall but I was able to use it as a 1-step back in the day.

Ooh, I’ll check that one out, I’m on board for a good cleansing oil instead of a balm, I considered the cleansing oils from tatcha and biossance but both have fairly mixed reviews on whether or not you could truly use them as a one step cleanser whereas the eve lom one people mostly agree can be a one step cleanser. I’ve been using the Clinique take the day of and I feel it really needs a follow up cleanse.

@AnnaCassandra  - I really love the Vanish foundation  - I am a P20 in Cover Fx and thought I would be Porcelain in Vanish but Cream worked best for me.  I think you'll really like it whatever shade you end up choosing.  I love you have Dim Light on your list - that is on mine too but likely closer to the holidays if I don't get the holiday palette. Love your choices!

Ive sampled both I think the porcelain is a good summer shade for me even though it leans a bit too yellow, I think the alabaster will be good for winter. Cream would probably be a closer match to my actual skin color but is just a bit too light and I find foundations that are on the lighter side tend to make my skin look really dry and cakey and wash me out. I think this foundation has such mixed reviews because most people are honestly using too much, it’s such a nice finish when applied properly and melts into the skin so well.

I was so excited for this sale before I started reading the replies and found out some BI’s received a 30% discount instead of the 20% I was given. I wasn’t planning to splurge either way. I’m just grabbing some replacements for products I’m quickly running out of. Happy Shopping Everyone!!!
