@danielledanielle  gorgeous hauls! I love the Ami Cole shadow shades you chose, they are such pretty colors, both together and separately. I love the Tatcha fan too! And the Hourglass palette and brush, always a great choice! I think I might pass on the palette this year (after getting one the past two years), but I definitely plan to pick up the brush, I cannot resist a pretty brush 😅. I hope you enjoy all your goodies!

@caitbird, understood.  I think this year is pretty good compared to last year for me, but this is one of those releases because of the price, I get passing on it.  For example, I got Snake last year and returned it because it was way too similar to Tiger IMO, for me at least.

R/T lid joys.  I'm happy I got them.  This is one of the reasons why it's sometimes good to read reviews ahead and wait for a sale.  The sale being that if you really hate it, you didn't go fill price.  The reviews sometimes clue you into best practices.  The main complaint was amount of product and getting the product out/applicator.  Third was patchiness.  So my guess was it was thin and sets fast. ( My beloved Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadow Pencils were like that 😭) It sets faaaaaast, so I think patchy results from application errors.  So as soon as I put it on , I tapped it out.  I use the brush it came with to blend out edges, not to apply.   I actually like the doe foot applicator vs it being a squeezable tube.  If it were tackier, a squeeze tube would be better, but it's like a thin, quick dry paint.  The applicator could probably be smaller, though.. it's a bit large.

@danielledanielle  the Hourglass palettes are always gorgeous, but like you said, for the price I would have to really love it. I got one the past 2 years and have been happy with them (tho not sure I really use them enough to justify the price 😅) but none of this year's are really speaking to me *personally*, even though they are lovely. So I think I will probably pass on this year. The dragon brush, on the other hand...🤣

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and tips on the lid joys, that is very useful to know! It's definitely smart to read reviews and wait for a sale. I'm glad you are liking them and able to make them work for you!

Gucci Glow Multi-Use Illuminating Gel-Powder Highlighter 03 Warm Gold 

So pretty but yes, glittery. The swatch really doesn't show it well

And my own Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Treatment for Hydration + Nourishing Shine Iced Coffee - sheer cocoa  after I bought one for my mini for her bday next month...

And something I may pass on haven't decided yet...is the new hourglass face palette, if I get one it's of the deeper 2..they are new shades though. 🤔

I mainly use mine at night for a lip mask. I have a couple of the different scents. I like it better than the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask – Intense Hydration Lip Treatment with Vitamin C Berry . The SF for me is just more hydrating & I prefer the tubes

 I bought my mini this for her bday, smelled & bought myself one. It's smells so good. @ather

@sonnydee   Thank you for mentioning and showing how glittery that Gucci highlighter is. I’ve had a couple shades on a wishlist, and now I can rule one of them out if they’re that sparkly. Warm Gold does look beautiful on you!
